Cant imagine Toronto not making a change in 2 weeks or less. The payroll is too high for the performance on the field. Would not surprise me if he is gone by the time this thread hits page 4.

Agreed, except for the fact the JP is a moron and the Jays President and owner both think JP is God. He should have been fired a long time ago. Gibbons is a secondary problem, but he has no business managing in the majors anyways. He's an old buddy of Gibby. I'd like to see them bring Cito Gaston back.

Bottom line is that John Gibbons makes extremely stupid decisions that have cost more than 5 ball games this season and JP Ricciardi was given the green light by Ted Rogers to spend as much as he needs to to make this team better and ge goes out and gets Victor Zambrano and Tomo Ohka and claims the pitching staff has been upgraded.

Nice work idiots...they should both be canned.

I agree with you. The guy should be gone and its just not the players not peforming but he really seems like he doesnt know what he is doing. The only thing that would surprise is if this thread made it to 4 pages

They don't fire managers like they used too.

Maybe it's because of the wildcard, teams stay in semi-contention longer. Also if more teams make playoffs if a manager made the playoffs in the last 3 years they are safe for a while.

Narron needs to be fired. They have to much talent in the NATTTI to be so horriable.

jim tracy is horrible. worse fundamental team in bases

The woman who was doing the Yankees color on the radio Saturday said the Pirates were one on the best fundamental teams. John Sterling then follows up with a gem. Says its a shame that the Pirates are not on national tv more. Why would that be. :ughhh:

Manuel is NOT the problem....as it always is, it is the middle relief and the fact that Howard is injured....Hope to get something for Burrell in the trade market...:discuss:
