I checked my voicemail just a bit ago. Got a message at 11:35 AM saying that a congressman wanted to invite me to dinner with the president on June 13th. Left phone number to call back.

I'm sure you can figure this one for yourself. Unless there's a reason on why a congressman would call you for a dinner invite with Bush, it's a scam. Are you a mover/shaker in your town? Do you contribute a filthy amount of money to the republican party? If no, it's a scam.

Yea I'm pretty sure It's a scam. I just never got something like that before and wanted to see if anyone else had.

Scam, he is going to pitch you for $500 a plate or something around that figure to attend the dinner which will end up being bogus anyway. Of course you know this now so you can mess with him but do not pay a cent. Actually the smart thing to do is ignore him, these telemarketers can sell sand in Las Vegas.

No I don't own a business. The site looks questionable to me. Join and we'll put your name in the paper, then on the events page they haven't had one since 2006. I called and hung up once I found out who it was that called and then came up with that web page.

nobody has the same last name as me. The person who even called pronounced it wrong. I still think it's a scam or something. my dad also isnt a businessman.
