Question for fantasy players

There's a pending trade in my league, pitcher Erik Bedard for, get this, Albert Pujols--staight up. WTF?!

I know Pujols is having a subpar year so far (it's not even the middle of May) and Bedard strikes out a ton of guys, but this isn't right, is it? The team trading Pujols is second from last and the team getting Pujols is in the middle of the pack.

I've never vetoed a trade before, and I don't want to seem like an asshole (this isn't a public league), but wouldn't you veto this trade too?

I am a diehard O's fan and even more so diehard bedard fan, but not even I can come to any realization as to why this trade should be approved. If the trade is approved I would probably drop out of the league.
