Like all your ML plays... especially like the Angels today.. and here's why:

Angels are 4-0 in Colon's last 4 road starts vs. Rangers.
Angels are 10-0 in Colon's last 10 starts vs. Rangers.

Rangers are 1-4 in Loe's last 5 starts vs. Angels

Also think there's alot of value to be had on the Brewers today.. sending their ace to the mound to face Mike Pelfry? Dude hasn't put a W on the scoreboard yet this yearwith an ERA floating around 6, and that number goes up to 10 during day games.. I'll take the Brew crew at -110 thankyou :aktion033

Also, care to go in depth about your Cubs/Phillies play this afternoon? All I can come up with is the Cubs suck and can't hit or throw the ball.

thanks ramonskee, good call on the blue jays friday night.

NP my friend. It seemed too good to be true and that's why I kept it to just a "semi-heavy" play.

Also, care to go in depth about your Cubs/Phillies play this afternoon? All I can come up with is the Cubs suck and can't hit or throw the ball.

Several reasons:
1) Cubs are throwing out Guzman who was on the team earlier in the year and got demoted to make room for Felix Pie. He was actually pitching very well when he was in the majors (0-0, 2.45 ERA, 7.1 IP, 8 H, 1 BB, 8 K) but then goes down to the minors and completely loses his confidence (0-2, 12.19, 10.1 IP, 14 H, 6 BB, 7 K). He did comeback and pitch well vs. the Nationals but that team is full of a bunch of players that can best be described as part-time workers that don't give two shits about the company they work for. The Phillies are starting to hit the ball very well and I really like them vs. Guzman.

2) # 1 was a small part of the reason why I love the Phillies, want more? Freddy Garcia career vs. the Cubs: 4-0, 0.60 ERA, 30 IP. As good of a bet as Roy Oswalt is vs. the Reds and Johan Santana is vs. the White Sox, Freddy Garcia vs. the Cubs, although rare, is a very favorable match.

3) Garcia during the day: 48-15, 3.49, he's 33 games over .500 during the day! The guy loves to pitch during the day so he can party it up at night.

There are a lot of other little indicators that are pointing at the Phillies in this game. It should be a very fun game to watch (hopefully fun as in if you have a lot invested in the Phillies, the completely blowout the Cubs so we don't have to sweat it out) and unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to watch it was my girl wants me to take her out this afternoon. When I'm getting updates during the game and she catches me, there will surely be some of this; :discuss: .

Some pretty solid analysis there. I'm a little hesitant as I've been on the wrong side of the last two Cubs games. I've already got a unit on the Phillies, the Cubs bats are just fucking dormant right now--I agree, I don't think they have that breakout game against Garcia,,

Sucks to hear about not being able to watch the game--- i bet your lady doesn't mind spending your winnings tho! I know mine doesnt... and for that fact she's not allowed to bitch while i'm "working" hahah

What a ridiculous game! I was so pissed to see that Geary asshole give up the 6 runs after Garcia pitched a gem and w/ the Cubs up 7-5 I was not happy at all. But to see the Fightin' Phils put up a 6 spot of their own in the bottom of that very same 7th inning and reclaim their four run lead was awesome. Brett Myers in to hopefully retire 6 in a row and keep our great day going.

Great start, hoping for a flawless day if the Giants can come through for us tonight and hopefully Buehrle continues to shut the Royals out and the Sox bats don't get too loud.
