its a joke how people think "team canada" will win 4 straight, they are getting lucky, thats the bottom line, buffalo is like 0-16 on poweplays this series, im a huge sabre fan, and i am expecting nothing short of buffalo in 6, ottawa had their fun. if sabres are on their game, they are almost un stoppable. if ottawa loses next game they are finished, that little bit of momentum is enough for buffalo to take the next 2 forsure atleast!

What's idiotic is to think that somehow a team didn't earn the President's Trophy. Wtf? Did Detroit not deserve it because they got bounced by the #8 seeded Oilers last season? Of course they did - they played 80+ games to earn it.
My stats illustrate that the Sens are winning because of special teams. Common knowledge is ST has to be clicking for a great playoff run ... and they have it. More power to them ... it's not they can decline the ongoing 5-on-3's. They make the most of their ops ... Buf doesn't.

there is no officiating controversy here in this series or in these playoffs at all.... to blame officiating and Toronto is a cop out.
Buffalo has had their share of lucky calls in these playoffs, as has Ottawa. It is easy to see who the hungrier team, and the better coached team is at this point. The sabres are feeding off the fear and panic in Lindy Ruff, and the sens are taking Murray's lead of confidence and defence.
VOLCHENKOV is a MONSTER!!!! WOW!!! this guy blocked 9 (NINE!!!!!) shots yesterday, 'Blocked Shots' is one of the biggest stats to look at in the playoffs, some teams are willing to sacrifice and others are not, the sens in the past almost NEVER blocked shots, totally different case this year.
Of course most would say that Alfie is the MVP of the sens so far, but if I had a vote, it would be VOLCHENKOV, ive never seen anyone play with such determination.
