FOUR GAME SERIES USUALLY HAVE BEEN ENDING IN A SPLIT 2-2. WITH THIS IN MIND I WILL GO WITH THE RANGERS TODAY AS THEY END A 4 GAME SET WITH THE ANGELS. ALSO JERED WEAVER HAS NOT BEEN ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT HE WAS IN 2006. ACTUALLY FAR FROM IT. ACTUALLY HE HAS GOTTEN ROCKED THE PAST COUPLE OUTTINGS, LOOKING MORE LIKE JEFF THAN JERED.

careful here

weaver has an era of 2.09 in his last 3 starts (2 of them on the road and 2 of them against the white sox and indians). he shut the pale sox out for 5 2/3 and gave up 1 earned in 6 innings against the tribe.

he also has 19 k's in 17 2/3 innings in those starts.

plus chop has the angels as his first play today.
