Brewers -118 5 units

Vargas has been money all year including a .53 ERA in his last 3 starts.
Eaton on the other hand has an 8.82 ERA in his last 3 starts, and has done
even worse at home this year. Brewers bullpen is doing very nice, while philly's has been nothing but trouble for them this year. Take the brew crew for a full 5 unit play. Vargas is very undervalued on this line.

*I did have a post where I had picks and ended down 2 units I believe but I was using some stupid system I found and am no longer using it (systems are bad ideas for the most part) so I am going to keep it out and start over with a clean slate.

Mets -147 3 units

Maine has had a great year thus far I instantly leaned towards the Mets
when I saw his name on the card. 5-0 with under 2 ERA and has pitched an average of 6
innings (give or take) per game. Zambrano only has 3 wins, including 2 wins against Washington
and St. Louis both teams which are only averaging barely over 3 runs a game anyways. They're bats are very close in comparison with mets having a little edge, I think Maine puts them over the top tonight. Not crazy about
the chalk that we're laying but it is for good reason.

For future reference I bet to win 1-5 units per game so if it's a 1 unit -110 play it is 1.10 unit to win 1 unit play I believe this is standard with most baseball bettors but I thought i'd specify since this is how i'll be tracking.

St Louis vs. Dodgers Over 7 1/2 -120 1 unit

I think the Dodgers pound wainwright tonight (era of 5.01, and whip
of over .1766). Was considering a play on the dodgers but -160 is
just too much a price to pay on a very hit and miss team. Aslong as St. Louis puts together a little bit of offense this should go over pretty easily. St. Louis hasnt been too good with the wood though (unintentional rhyme I swear), hence the 1 unit bet.

Minnesota Twins +120 2 units

Twins bats have been dead this season and came alive against the Tigers in their last game. Ortiz can be lights out when he wants to be and if Twins give
him some decent run support I think they got this one. Byrd doesn't seem
to match up well with the twins allowing 5 or 6 runs in all 4 of his meetings against worse hitting lineups.
Going to live dangerously and pick the Olsens to take this one down.

Toronto Jays -108 3 units

Blue Jays 3 units

Toronto is starting a rookie today who has done very well in the minors.
Baltimore is playing Cabrera who has a 5.25 ERa and a WHIP of 1.667 on the road.
Not to mention Baltimores Pen that has 6 ERA with a 2 WHIP on the road.
Unless Balts bats get really hot I give this one to the Jays.

Tigers vs. Red Sox Under 9 1/2 -120 2 units

Pretty self explanatory play here, 2 stud pitchers in Verlander and Wakefield. Kinda worried about Tigers digging into there bullpen early and Sox going on a rally nonetheless I like this play.

Yankees vs. White Sox under 9 1/2 -115 5 units

Both Mussina and Danks are pitching pretty good this year, Mussina has a 2.0 ERA with a .923 Whip in his last 3 games. Bats on both sides haven't been putting in too many runs as of late. Mussina and Danks games are 8-2 on going under/over this year when combined. Expect a low scoring game 4-2 type game seems likely.
