Will the NBA have the balls to do the right thing and not suspend anyone for the crucial game 5?

The Suns apperar to be back in the driver seat with home court back in Phoenix, but could be facing San Antonio without one of more players ...

If the rule holds all players leaving the bench when an altercation breaks out will be sitting down for the next game....and all because of Robert Horry's cheap shot that started the whole thing, this would be a terrible move by the league, when the best playoff series is staring them right in the face , I hope they make the right decision.

I hope they dont suspend them but I bet they will.If they are going to say a "rule" is a "rule" then they should not factor how great a series is or the magnitude of game 5.
Being from Alabama,I am a Robert Horry fan.Met him several times.Hate to see him be unsportmanlike.

I think the best reason they should be suspended is that if they aren't that will be looked at in the future for these type of situations and people will compare incidents and see if player X should be suspended. I hope they aren't.

it might work out better for the spurs if that's the case. I'd take out Horry for Amare and Diaw all day if I was the Spurs.

I love the Suns to finish off the Spurs....Looks like we'll be watching the SUNS/PISTONS finals matchup which should produce some great games....Suns will win the championship!

haha first "looks like the sun has set on phoenix season"
now "all the momentum has shifted!!"

you're funny Journeyman.

Spurs are simply too good a team to fold on the road like the Mavs did. What a great series this has been...

Well it DID look like the sun had set,and now I believe the momentum has shifted not much doubt there.....I still can't believe Phoenix rose from the ashes late in that 4th qtr the way the Spurs were playing.

The Spurs are still the favorite - though any book has to be nuts to offer a line when there are likely to be suspensions - I would think Horry, Diow and Stoudamire are out for game 5 - in the past, the rules have been strictly enforced - if you leave the bench area during an altercation you are suspended one game automatically - the Suns argument that they were going to substitute does not cut it because if this were the case they would have been at the scorer's table - it makes no sense because Horry started the whole thing - there is also a possibility that the league views Horry's foul as a hard foul and Diow and Stoudamire are the only ones suspended.

I just read a Steve Kerr column, he said Bowen and TD also stepped into court when Elson collided with James Jones. The league should just fine them all and let them play.

Realistically speaking this very well could be the NBA championship on the line here in game 5, the NBA needs to let them play.

nobody is giving the east a chance. i think the pistons if they get in could very well beat whoever comes out of the west.
