The Devil Rays, who rank last in the majors in team ERA, look to continue their run of strong outings on the mound as they continue a three-game series against the Texas Rangers on Wednesday. Casey Fossum (2-3, 7.43 ERA) will try to extend the Devil Rays' success when he takes the mound Wednesday. The left-hander has given up five earned runs or more in four of his seven starts, including three of his last four. He was tagged for eight runs five earned - in 5 2-3 innings of Thursday's 11-6 loss to Baltimore. In nine career games seven starts against Texas, Fossum is 3-1 with a 5.05 ERA. Vicente Padilla (1-5, 4.78) will start for the Rangers, who have lost eight of their last 11 road games against the Devil Rays. Padilla is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA in two career appearance, including one start, against Tampa Bay. With these guys on the mound both teams will score a lot of runs and since a pitcher wont stand more then 6-7 innings i will take over in 1st 5 innings. The line is 5 but i'll buy .5 from pinnacle. I will add one or two more after i check the dodgers and the padres. Predicted score: Rangers 2 Devil Rays 3
Play: over 4.5 1st 5 innings ($150/100$)

Kip Wells (1-7, 6.51 ERA) will start for St. Louis in hopes of snapping a six-game losing streak, the longest of his career. Wells was 1-1 with a 1.38 ERA through two starts, but has posted an 8.47 ERA during his skid.
Wells gave up four runs in six innings Friday in a 7-0 defeat to the Padres on Friday, and is 0-2 with a 5.40 ERA in three career starts against the Dodgers. The Dodgers will send Randy Wolf (4-3, 3.94) to the mound, hoping for a repeat performance of his last start. The left-hander held Cincinnati to four hits in seven innings of a 2-0 victory on Friday, Wolf's first win in his last four outings. Wolf hasn't pitched against St. Louis since 2004, and is 2-3 with a 3.67 ERA in six career starts against the Cardinals. The birds won game 1 of the series and dodgers won yesterday game 2.
Predicted score: Cardinals 4 Dodgers 7
Play: Los Angeles Dodgers -1 ($104/100$)

Dominant in his last two starts, Jake Peavy looks for his third straight win Wednesday while trying to help the San Diego Padres bounce back from their most recent loss in the finale of a three-game set with the Cincinnati Reds.
Peavy (5-1, 1.52 ERA), who leads the majors with 66 strikeouts and is second only to the Los Angeles Dodgers' Brad Penny in ERA, will try to record double-digit strikeouts for his fifth consecutive outing. Peavy, who has not allowed an earned run while yielding just four hits in 14 innings over his last two starts, is 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA in six career starts against the Reds. Bronson Arroyo (2-3, 2.87) will take the mound for the Reds on Wednesday. Arroyo allowed two runs and six hits in six solid innings, but took the loss as Cincinnati fell 2-0 against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday. He has allowed three earned runs or fewer in each of his last seven starts, but has received a total of just one run in support in his three losses this season. The right-hander is 2-2 with a 4.43 ERA in four career starts against the Padres.
Predicted score: Reds 3 Padres 5
Play: San Diego Padres -1 ($115/100$)
