Kim- there's some hidden messgaes going on there, the Colts I believe threw that game vs Detroit, and after hearing Brent's halftime update he mentions the 'fumble going into the endzone , again' makes me feel it really was a lay down job by Balto. Very late in that game the Colts had a punt mysteriously blocked and ran back giving the Lions an improbable win....But what really made that game and loss significant, it knocked out New England who was to play Baltimore the following week...the loss by the Colts knocked NEw England out of the tiebreaker scenario...had the Colts won the Patriots would have been playing Baltimore for a playoff berth, since the Colts lost it knocked them out....pretty bizarre but true.

Tom Brady knows what I'm referrring to.

The Steelers were the beneficiary of that Bengals loss, winning the tiebreak...they were my team

I remember they sent Houston some gifts which would be a big no-no today.

pay close attention around the 3:20 mark- I want you to see if you get what I'm getting at....and the 3:35 mark...I believe it was fixed afterall.

Even Brent didn't realize the playoff scenario.

I remember what happened and the Colts gave it away but forgot to this extent. There was some strange things that went on for sure. The Colts did not want to win that game. TO be fair though, football more than most sports, if our head is not into the game, you are in trouble. In this game the Colts did not come to play. I cannot say it was a 100% laydown by baltimore but they defintely did not give 100%. i think there is a little difference. If this happened today there would be MUCH more scrutiny given. ESPN was not even around then. Fumble going into the end zone makes you really wonder....That is not right what they did. The Pats tried their hardest to beat them the following week regardless and had the big lead but blew it with a bad ref call on the Bert Jones fumble helping them. I would like to hear more painful details of this just to add it all up.

It just struck me hearing Brent at the half talk about New England looking to lock up a playoff berth and Baltimore fumbling away their game...knowing what happened after that...pretty cool finding that.

We didn't lose the game; we just ran out of time
