Wouldn't be so sure of that...

Detroit w/ Ben Wallace was taken to 7 games last year by Lebron James and Co.

Now Detroit is without Ben Wallace and facing an older, more mature Lebron James with better shooters than last year.

Dont count your money yet. Wouldnt bet against Lebron James with a title on the line...

Definitely not automatic and you will lay odds with that too. Cleveland is not great but they play as a team, play good defense and have James. THey will be competative. I think!

James is not that good yet. Fact. He suck's at free throws very much so along with his 3 pt shooting. I can see det winning big the first game, but not as big as you say. Good luck.

Lebron shooting 80% FT in the playoffs - agreed he sucked during the season but now is it when it really counts. Doesnt matter if he sucks at 3's cuz he's gonna be driving to the basket as much as possible anyway, and Cleveland has several good 3 pt shooters in Marshall, Pavlovic, Gibson, Damon Jones, etc

Hey junior, maybe just maybe you should think twice if you need a bank loan to come up with the $3500 - like I have said many times - this place provides great entertainment when I'm bored.

It's a Spreadbeater pick at -170 before Detroit made it to finals, so this has to be well over -200 now

Detroit Pistons to win the East –1.70 5DIMES
Just love this play. I know that it is a lot of juice to lay, but you don't pay the juice when you win. Just see no reason why the Pistons will not win the East. They are up 2-0 against the Bulls right now and I do not see Chicago winning 4 of the next 5. Looking at their next match-up in the conference finals, Detroit has the edge over either Cleveland or Jersey.

As Billups has said recently, this team is dialed in. They are all focused on winning another title. Billups said this team reminds him of when they won the title, as they are "bringing it" each game. So far they are 6-0 in the playoffs. The Webber signing looks solid now, as C Webb is giving them some offense, where they had none with Big Ben. The defense is still rock solid. They may be deeper than ever before. This team is on a mission right now and I do not see anyone from the East beating them.

I cannot emphasize how much I love this play, even with the heavy juice. Play: Detroit to win East –1.70 (Risking 5.10 units to win 3).

thats funny. James rebounds like a 7 footer, passes like a point guard, is strong like a power forward...and will only get better

As One Poster Said

If you have to get a loan to gamble, you need to find another less expensive (for you) hobby. It appears you`re betting over your head. I come off as preaching a lot of the time, but the reason is that I`m so much older than anyone else @RX. And when young did ALL the same stupid things I see by the young guys now. "Action" IS a high in itself, and addictive. I had all 3 when young BP&G. Still have 2 believe it or not.

Taking out a loan to place a wager is not stupid - it approaches brain dead - and the best part is for $3500.

Wow, so many people are so misinformed about LeBron.....

Do they know LeBron is something like 7-30 FG with a chance to tie or win a ball game? 0-21 FG from the 3pt line with the game on the line.

LeBron shoots UNDER 60% from the FT line in the 4th qt.... which explains why he is reluctant to drive the ball late. He is afraid he'll be fouled and have to make clutch FTs, which he hasn't done at all in his entire career.

No, I think you are uninformed if you don't think the guy is phenominal. Have you stopped and analyzed that crew he is playing with? They suck and he makes the whole team. Look what happened last night when he picked up his 4th foul. Point proven. Guy is phenominal and there is no disuputing it.

Do you know what the Cavs' record is when LeBron doesn't play? 5-0. Undefeated.

Don't give me that BS about his teammates sucking. Larry Hughes is a former 20 ppg scorer. Ilgauskas is a former All-Star. Drew Gooden is one of the best young forwards in the league. Eric Snow is a great defender. Sasha/Varejao are two of the best combos in the league. Not to mention some of the most profilic 3pt shooters in Marshall, Jones and Gibson. And people have the nerve to bash Kobe when he's the one with all the real crap around him. Kobe would be winning championships with the "crap" that LeBron has.

crunch, lebron is still a young guy. 22 years old, he hasn't even entered his prime yet. i love his game, i agree though he does lack in the end game situations, which he will improve on.

EH claimed that I was a "turd" because I said Gooden is one of the top young forwards in the league......

Here's my rational response w/o the personal attacks because I don't need to resort to namecalling to win this argument:

Gooden is 5th in the NBA among non-Centers in rebounds (15th overall)..... even while playing only 28 min per game, lowest playing time among the top 18 rebounders.

Gooden is 16th in the NBA is scoring among forwards.... this is understandable since he's only 1 of 4 players to avg double figures that plays less than 30 mpg and attempts less than 10 shots a game.

He has been even better in the playoffs as he has raised his scoring and rebounding.

I rest my case......

Don't think so..... if you look at the history of clutch players, they usually showed their clutchness in their rookie or sophomore seasons. Magic, Bird, Jordan, Wade, etc. were all clutch their first season. Kobe developed in to a clutch player by his 2nd season. This is LeBron's 4th season.... and he still plays like a scared lil kid who is afraid to take that final shot with the game on the line. And he continues to brick at the charity line and 3PT. I don't ever see this guy becoming the clutch player that Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe and Wade are/were. He just doesn't have it in him. He could play 20 more years and he may never develop this killer instinct.

He's better than any 2 or 3 in the NBA right now outside of Bryant and possibly McGrady. Still think they are a longshot to beat the Pistons
