this city is pathetic.... drive around downtown or in the market, and HONESTLY, you woudnt even know that the Sens are about to go to the finals.....
If this were happening in Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary, it would be night and day, Buffalo gets 5k+ fans outside their arena......

Buffalo had 10,000 the other night for the game in Ottawa watching at HSBC.
Most fans in this city can't sit still. Flags waving--jerseys/hats on everyone from 80 yr olds to infants. All three of mine have their jerseys lined up for today--little Miller-little Briere and little Campbell. I had a chance for duckets today but passed because it is so much fun to watch as a family on our new HD Plasma. Plus I couldn't decide between the wife and son to take--so I passed and will have game 7 if it were to go that far. As you can tell-I am WOUND up!!!!

just look at what happens in other cities, recent examples = calgary, edmonton and this year buffalo.
compare it to Ottawa..... the team isnt in trouble as there are plenty of fans, however, Ottawa is a very reserved city without much passion, and isnt much of a sports town.

Ottawa outplayed Buffalo and deserved the win. Usually I am mad when the season is over--but this one is pure disappointment....The Cup awaits the Sens if they want it..
