3-3, +2.04

1st winning day in a long time. Hopefully a sign that things have turned for me. Tweaked my approach a bit....Posted 3 plays with ML's and RL's, and won 2 of the 3, and lost a RL for a 3-3 split, but profit. On to today with 4 plays....

3* D-Backs/Pitt under 7.5 -115

Two young stud pitchers facing poor offenses (off a good day at the plate and should come back down to earth today) that are vulnerable to the projected L/R matchups.

2* Milwaukee Brewers -160
1* Milwaukee Brewers -1.5 +125

Nice bounceback spot for the Brewers, who are off a blowout loss, are a great home team, and start a steady starter vs. a rookie making his 1st road start. Twins have been inconsistent lately, as Milwaukee has to, and see no reason why they should continue hot hitting again today, and see no reason for the Brew Crew to be held in check again today.

2* Florida Marlins -128
1* Florida Marlins -1.5 +125

Will continue to take value on Willis as he will continue to be winning pitcher this year. Seo throws BP outside of last start. Marlins are swinging it well lately (outside of the 1 game I decided to unload of course a couple back.)

3* San Francisco Giants +133

Great value on Cain. Oakland has been notorious this year for exploding offensively and then laying an egg next game. Great spot again for that to happen here.

Writeups will increase as I start rolling again. Dont like to invest too much time if the plays arent winners.

Good luck

Love Florida and San Fran. Still not sold on Milw. Young teams are more emotional and seem to streak a bit in my opinion. Both good and bad. Right now they are in a bad one. I'm passing, so I will root for ya.

good luck

Box, glad to know you had a winning day yesterday. GL on your picks today. I had no feel about FLA and SF, but Cain seems to be a good choice today. D-Train seems to have struggled at times in recent past (from what I remember watching some games on MLB.tv), no?

I was on ARI/PIT Over 7 yesterday and it easily cashed. Last night when I saw today's matchups, I did figure an Under today instead. I'll be on that for sure, including a lean on PIT as they have hit well & like Gorzelanny.

GL!

P.S. No, I dont have a plays thread personally as I use a money management program so I don't have set units... in case you're wondering where my plays are.

BOL Box. Love the plays today.

I appreciate all the positive vibes Jibba. Everyone goes through the type of stretch that I just went through at some point, and it's easy to kick a man while he's down and any positive thoughts are welcome. I appreciate it.

Thanks and GL

I agree 100% with young teams being streaky. In general, I feel baseball overall is streaky. And thats sort of the basis for the play also in that Minnesota hasnt been playing that well either, IMO. They had a lopsided game yesterday 8-1, and I just really like playing teams to bounceback, especially a good team at home like Milwaukee is, and vs. a rookie 1st road start. Milwaukee's obviously in a funk, but this just seems like a good spot for them to me to drive some in. It wasnt my favorite line on the card, and a bit juicy for my taste - but I couldnt pass.

Thanks for your thoughts and gl

Dontrelle has struggled, no doubt. But he's still a solid pitcher that has obviously shown the ability and track record to dominate. Any time you can get an ace, with a lineup that is heating up at limited juice vs. a below average team - it's worth a play.

From watching Marlins games all of these years, this team rallies when he pitches. They have fun coming out to the yard. With that being said, Marlins are one of two teams (Yanks being the other) that I have had a hard time getting a feel for this year.

Pitt also looks like a good play, but I'm limiting my action right now and getting back to being more selective.

Eh . . . it's just my own selfishness. If all the good cappers take breaks, who am I going to continue learning from?

O-T: But i just was about to buy that cell phone, and they require me to get that data plan for 20$ per month extra, so my cell bill would be about 95$ per month after tax and everything...You think that's alot in comparison to that company your with?
