I think all Mets backers are, myself included. Don't want to get burned by Jeter.

Huge Sox fan here and Jeter is one of the few Yanks I respect. And saying he sucks is just ridiculous. He's hitless in only three games this year. Sure as hell glad he didn't burn me there though. 3 more outs.

anthing can happen with a Yanks game.

Don't exhale until the final OUT.

They always seem to smugly pull something out of their asses.

I've been the happy and the sad on both sides of it.

They have a knack like "they don't give a shit" one way or another.

They just DO, they don't think about it or rally around each other = it's ego driven and it sometimes happens. Watch out on this game.

They might have a BIG EGO working today.

It ain't over. Not yet.

Strange, ain't it?

Uncle Steve, you have a point but also think you give this Yankees team too much credit. They have more talent, and I'd never disrespect that, but they definitely miss personalities and team players like Bernie Williams, Tino Martinez, and Paul O'Neil. This year, with this team, they haven't been able to "just do." As a Sox fan, I hope it lasts.
