I never thought it could get worse the Oscar/Floyd - well anyone who put themselves through the torture I just did knows it can get far far worse - this fight was as bad as it gets - I am going to have to see and Vick and his hoodlem friends could let me into some of their dog fights - Jermaine Taylor being undefeated and one of the best boxers out there truly exemplifies how atrocious boxing has become - I think I am done watching even the free fights - anyone got Vick's cell?

Some people want to see the negative in everything. yes I absolutely agree the main event sucked but those styles were never going to mesh. Corey Spinks has never been in a good fight the guy is a stinker. The undercard however was an excellent fight. Pavlik and miranda went to war and both fought there asses off. Fights like that are why I like boxing more than MMA. A great MMA fight can't match up with a great boxing match. I like MMA but that's the truth.

With his reach, Pavlik has a solid chance against Taylor, IMO. Something tells me that Taylor won't be gunshy against him though.
Jermaine has looked terrible in his last two fights, but he was fighting slick southpaws. Pavlik is a straightforward, right-handed puncher, with which Taylor is much more comfortable.

I watched the Miranda fight - I turned it on in the 3rd - I thought it was the 11th - did he do any cardio up to the fight? - fucking Bob Sapp looked to be in better cardio - and how about Taylor - the guy is undefeated - he is virtually the face of boxing and he is lucky to be called above average.

believe me the taylor fight let me down as a fan, but not as a bettor.
taylor who has something like 26 wins yet only 17 by KO was +200 to win by decision against a fighter who stood no chance to win but had only been knocked out once in his career and that was against a wild puncher in Zab Judah who totally had a different style than Taylor.
and in the mayweather fight you could get him to win by decision at even money against a fighter who also does not get knocked out and has never beaten the big names he has been put in front of...

I just don't get how boxers are content to let the fight go to decision. Knock someone the fuck out and then you don't have to guess if you are ahead on the scorecards or not
