Jesse Litsch, up from AA ball to fill in for Roy Halladay, has his second start today. Last week at home against the Orioles he pitched a very solid 8.2 innings in taking the 2:1 win. He looked nervous on his first few balls but soon settled in for his solid performance.

Can he do the same on the road against the Phillies? Should be a breeze if he gets the same run support against Eaton (ERA 6.42) that the Toronto bats delivered yesterday in taking a 13-2 win.

Worth a small play on the dog.

I'm leaning that way. I like betting against Charlie Manuel's idiotic moves. gl.

Pitching on the road is much different, especially for young players.

Although that didn't seem to matter for Shawn Marcum last night.

I like the pick, and I like the avatar. Litsch got a lot of ground ball outs... we'll see if he can keep it up.
