A situation in which one team has a greater number of players on the ice, because a player from the opposing team has been penalized forcing his team to play without his services for a certain amount of time (usually 2 minutes). Another player cannot replace him until the power play is over or the other team scores a goal. Basically known as a man advantage. 6 players playing against 5 is a common situation diring a power play but sometime it can be 6 against 4 (counting goaltenders) if a second penalty is called on the same team before the first power play is over. Referred to as a two man advantage.
That was a great game. I just happened to flip to it as the OT period was starting and saw the Ducks win it in great fashion. I would love to see that series go to a Game 7, but it all lies in the Wings' hands now.
Would love to see Anahiem and Ottawa in the Finals. Getting tired of seeing Detroit.........want new blood in the Finals. I also have Ottawa to win it all..........
