Congrats Jack of Hearts it could not have happened to a nicer guy and more well respected poster. Jack of Hearts correctly hit the three team parlay and won the tiebreaker over several other posters to take home the first $1,000 envelope to be handed out at the reception dinner at Rx. Bash 2007 in August...

Apparently, a few out there aren't convinced I won, accusing me of changing my tiebreaker. WOW! Talk about getting blindsided. I believe there is a way for mods to check and see if I edited my post. I guarantee they won't find any evidence. Whatsoever.

Attention Contest Players.

I want to go on record here and now to let everyone know that Jack of Hearts has nothing to do with grading ANY contests here at the Rx.com at the present time and has not been an official contest grader for close to two years. He posts information about contest results strictly on his own volition and is not sanctioned or asked to do so by The Rx.com. Any poster can do the same.

The fact that he won tonight does not mean he had even the most miniscule advantage over any other contestant, Jack of Hearts is just another poster.

Regarding the editing rule:

• Edited posts (where “edited by...” appears at the bottom of the post window) will be disqualified.

I purposely added that codicil in parenthesis to preclude arguments about posters editing their entries. Most of you know that there is a short (no longer than 5 minute window that allows posters to make edits and the post will not show edited by so and so, I am going to try to get Rx. Tech Support to eliminate that grace period which was added to give posters a chance to correct spelling or grammatical errors quickly years ago.

Botttom line tonight is Jack of Hearts won fair and square and I personally resent any accusations that he did so unfairly. Everyone who entered has the same opportunity to win.

Unless I can find a way to give this money away without having the winner being accused of cheating. I have given away hundreds of thousands of dollars, dozens of valuable prizes like big screen TVs, trips, super bowl tickets and who knows what else but it is never easy.

quit whining. you're in the business of dealing with degenerate gamblers. most people in life don't like to lose. degenerates take it to another level. so of course they're gonna complain if they doing win. being the head moderator of a place like the rx, you should know this.

SS, it is about the editing during the no show edit window. Someone says JOH had originally used 77 rebounds but changed it to 101 rebounds. Even if true that is perfectly legal by rule as I added a rule just to cover that for this contest.

This has been a problem in the past because posters wait until the last second to post to get an edge so I made it clear that all posts are good unless "Edited by so and so" appeared at the bottom of the post box. Same old beef.
