They never pay the sucker who ships all the stuff overseas, so that person is out all the shipping costs, plus gets the liability of being arrested

Why not take them up on it (without paying money or giving real info other than address) and when you get the first merchandise keep it? If they call you up to bitch, inform them that several feds stopped by your house and that you want to know what's going on.

Drunken, if you keep the merchandise then YOU WILL be breaking the law.

Also, you can bet that they will pay a visit to your house and that isnt worth the hassle as well. You cant shoot all 500 of them, or maybe you can if you are drunk enough

Someone a few years ago used the romantic angle and lured in a brother of mine. After about 3 weeks and address exchanges the scammer asked my brother if he could ship something to him temporarily. About 4 days later he received 2 pallets full of brand new laptops. I think he got like 60 of them. At that point he contacted the FBI.

I'm aware that it's against the law but you could always claim ignorance; with so many scams out there it's a decent bet you'd never have to worry. And I don't think any of them would show at your house if you convinced them that the feds were involved.
