0-2 last time out as both dogs lost, one of which blew a lead in the 8th inning. The other had no shot, hitting into Double play after double play.

Going to try and change what I'm doing a little bit and incorporate some of my basketball techniques such as public %'s and perception into baseball. I have been keeping an eye on it lately, and it seems to be doing very well, and it would have actually won the last 2 times out with the Yankees on Sunday night baseball, and yesterday vs. Boston.

2* Florida Marlins +117

Hamels is good, but Florida's home offense and offense against lefties is solid. Hamels doesn't pitch particularly well in this ballpark, Miguel Cabrera has much success against him, and he fuels this offense.

2* Colorado Rockies +133

Like the way Fogg pitches against the DBacks. He is better than his 1-5 record indicates, especially away from Coors Field. DBacks Hernandez is overpriced.

1* Kansas City +140

Will play them every game as a dog this series progressively til it cashes.

Yea Jibba I was just checking your card out after i posted and seen we are butting heads on them. Probably a bad thing for me...

Gonna go head and add another one:

Just as much as I have a feel for the Injuns, I have a good feel for the Pirates. Their wins come in bunches, and so do their losses. They went on a hot streak for a while, but now the funs over.

1* St. Louis Cardinals -137

Cards are the worst in the NL at hitting lefties, which is why this one stays small.

Well, the way I've been going the past 3 weeks, I wouldn't be too worried. Pretty much treading water at this point and just hoping I snap out of it. Tried mixing things up with mostly dogs yesterday and still can't get out of the funk. And figures that I come back to see this Cards play. This morning I put in a play at MB on the Pirates at +132 and figured it wouldn't get that high only to see it just got snatched up, so it looks like we're butting heads again.

You may be onto something with those against the grain plays though. I can't figure out for the life of me why all those lines have dropped like they have, and I can only assume it's not a good thing. Phils have dropped 10 points. Mets have done the same. So have the Indians. One or two others as well. So I guess you may be on the "sharp" side.

Do think you have a good spot for the Rockies, although I'm shy on them after the frustrating extra innings loss to the Royals over the weekend. BOL.

Edit: By the way, followed you on the Cavs +6.5 last night. Didn't post over there, but thanks for the hit bro. :toast:

If the Cardinals win the game tonight, they are going to put some runs up I think. Pujols is getting hot finally, but as a team they struggle vs. lefties. If the Pirates win, I think it will be a showdown, Wainright vs. Duke, in a 3-2 type of game. Pitt was in the top 3 in offense a few days ago around the time they played FLA, and they are quickly dropping.

As for the Rockies, I think it's crucial to remember to forget (to an extent) costing yourself money the day before with blown leads. It happens to me all the time where a team blows a lead late, only to come out and win solidly the next day or days.

The Indians could VERY well win tonight as Carmona is pitching the best ball of his life, and as an Indians fan I hope he continues that. My memory serves me that KC always plays the Tribe tough, and although the Royals may lose tonight, I feel they wont get swept in this series, so the worst I would do is pick up a few bucks by progressively betting them as dogs on the ML, and I may try the Alternate RL here where it should pay close to +300 in a few days.

Glad you were able to cash on the Cavs last night with me. Was never really in doubt, and the only thing that was going to send it over was Overtime. Disappointing Lebron shyed away from wanting the ball yet again and had to settle for Marshall who plays about 10 min/game taking the game winner.

Stayed away from the under because I've never had success betting totals. Plus, I hate having to occasionally root for one bet but against another. But thanks again for the right side. May have to head over the to NBA forum in a few to see who's on what. You playing the game tonight?

Agree with all the rest. I'm expecting a somewhat close game with Pitt, but possibly more along the lines of 5-3 or so. As for the Rockies, it was just an emotional loss because it turned my entire day around (or at least it seemed at the time) after thinking I had lost (in the top of the 11th) and then won (in the bottom of the 11th) and then finally to lose. And I believe you are correct that KC plays Cleveland well generally, but this year they are particularly bad at home, as is Odalis, and the Tribe have the best team they've had in some time.

Think I'm going to play that 'Stros game after all. BOL tonight. :toast:

It seems like everytime a dog line opens for baseball you never get the same value thur out the day example Royals opened at +160 now are only +150

Yea I only use one book and the lines I get for baseball are not that great. However, they are extremely slow with moving lines for basketball and football, so it pays off that time of year.

Well we got the Marlins in to start the day off right.

Cardinals keep making baserunning mistakes and costing them or else they would be up big. Come on Wainwright, settle in...

EDIT: Wainwright pulled as I say type that.

Thanks Sethi...Loved that Cards play and almost made it a 5 or 6* which are very rare and i haven't had one yet this year, but the way they hit lefties gave me no choice but to keep it a little smaller. Pirates did exactly what i thought they would do in leaving countless runners on base and not scoring.

Helton lead off double, gets picked off, and then Hawpes K's...Go from man on second no outs, to no one on and 2 outs...I hate bad baserunning.
