They're Jailblazers no more...

Portland really improved this past season. They'll be pretty good next year, definitely on the right track.

Dont sleep on Durant ending up in Seattle...or wherever that franchise ends up.

Definitely turn around a team. Both teams Portland & Seattle aren't the worst of squads out there.

Works out perfectly for Seattle...get to take Durant and now figure out a sign and trade to get Rashard Lewis out of there, help them get better down low.

Atlanta lucked out by landing the #3 pick...had it been one lower, they would've forfeited it to Phoenix. That would've been outrageous.

I'll be surprised if the Hawks don't take Conley with one of their picks, to attone for passing on Deron Williams and Chris Paul.

Making out with #3 and #11 was the best-case scenario. They should compete for a playoff spot next season.

Happy the Celts got fucked again. Goes to show what tanking does for you.

I think you're right with the Hawks taking Conley, they will be real hesitant with Wright since Marvin Williams burned them terribly.

Who do you think drafts the token huge Chinese guy?

The Celts did not tank. They lost Paul Pierce for most of the season and he wasn't the same when he came back. They also lost tony allen midseason and he was averaging 20 a game.

Rivers also tried to force Pierce and other celts to play through injuries to be competitive.

I hate seeing Druant go to Seattle. Already nothing but a perimeter team, I guess if they can get something good for Lewis it might be alright. But it is a cheap as team and never is on TV.
Portland should be in the playoffs next year and a contender within two years.

I thought that if Seattle got anything lower than 2, they'd be the team to take him. Lots of Asians in Seattle, would've been easier to get acclimated and less pressure.

I doubt the Hawks will take him...so it'll depend on what team falls in love with him in workouts. I'd guess Memphis is a possibility. He, Gasol, and Gay could eventually be formidable. Maybe Sacramento will trade up and take him. It's wide open at this point, I'm guessing.

I think what you said applies up until the last month of the season...the shenanigans he pulled with taking out all his starters in the 4th quarter in a winnable game, giving players minutes late in games who weren't accustomed to being in that situation, that all screamed of tanking.

Injury bug did bite the Celts pretty hard, though.

In case you haven't heard, Damon Stoudemire, Ruben Patterson, Sebastian Telfair and Rasheed Wallace are no longer with Portland...

Wow, reminds me when the Spurs got Duncan, came out of nowhere. Blazers should be playoff bound with Oden next year barring injuries.

Also, Seattle should be one of the most entertaining teams in the league with Ridnour, Allen, Durant and Wilcox. Plus like Raj pointed out, they should be able to beef up their front line with a sign and trade of Lewis.

I would be shocked if the Hawks take Conley jr.....on a side note, i dont think he's worthy of a top 7 or 8 pick....Something about him makes me think his game won't aculmate to the NBA well, although if he gets in the right system mythoughts might change.
