(57-25)(+25.73 units) favorite bets
(24-26)(+5.10 units) underdog bets

(81-51)(+30.83 units) overall

I must be on a lucky streak. I went 4-1 (+3.31 units) last night. I switched things up and went with four dogs and one favorite. I won the favorite pick and also three of four underdog picks. I have been very luck to avoid the big losing streak this year, but I know it is coming eventually. Only one day game that I missed today, but I did not like it anyway. Tough card tonight, here is what I came up with.

Yesterday I had four dogs and one favorite, I felt like there was a change. I think it switches back tonight as I am on four favs and one doggie.

Mets -111 vs Atlanta……………..Mets got pounded last night and I was on the right side of that one, tonight I am switching over to the mets. Good pitching matchup tonight. I am going with Perez. I think it is a wash, but I like the mets bats tonight to score some runs. Also just a strong gut feeling the Mets even this series. My gut feelings have worked for me this year so far. Did you ever like a game but had no reason or stats to back it up? Sometimes it can be easy to over think a game.

White Sox -127 vs Oakland………….Sox playing good ball right now. Jim Thome’s return must have sparked them. Another good pitching matchup, but I am a fan of Garland. Garland is 3-0, 2.01 in his last three starts. Combine that with their all of a sudden hot bats, and laying -127 feels like a steal to me, how about you? I really like this one. I don’t think it will even be close.

Pittsburgh -102 vs St Louis………Oh how times have changed. The pirates a favorite at the cards. Wow! I really like Ian Snell, he is and up and coming pitcher for the bucs. He can shut down an offensively challenged team like the cardinals. On the other side, Kip Wells is horrible. There is a reason Pittsburgh is favored on the road, they are going to win. This line should be higher than this, maybe -130 or so. This one scares me to death, but sometimes the scariest bets are the best ones.

Detroit -105 vs Angels………….Angels have showed much improvement on the road since the start of the season, but they are not as good on the road as they are at home. Colon has looked great and he has not lost this year against five wins. That is impressive, but they guys are not going to keep this up all year, they are going to lose games and tonight is a bad spot for him in my eyes. I think we are getting some value in only laying this small price with the tigers at home. It is easy to get caught up with a pitcher who has looked great. I called for Cole Hamels of the phillies to take the loss last night and he did. I am calling for Colons first loss tonight. Tigers will get to him early.

Boston +123 vs Yankees………….This one is simple in my eyes. Yanks are still struggling, there is no easy answer for them and facing Curt Schilling will not help matters much. Sure the Yanks could win, but I like my chances with a pitcher like this as a dog. Even if this one loses, I am not sorry I took it.

Short card Thursday and three of them are afternoon games which I will miss. I might take Thursday off. I woke up with a sore throat and a bad headache all day, so I might just take it easy for a day with the light schedule. Depends how I feel. Back on Thursday or Friday.

Good Luck Everybody!!
