Oh yeah baby! Back in business last night with two huge winners on Baltimore ML and LA Dodgers ML and don't think im about to stop right there. I decided to sit out the first two games of the day which means I actually showed some kind of discipline for once. Alright, like you guys know, I am only posting the games I bet on and only posting the ones I liked when I capped the night before. This is actually the only game that stands out today and I am pounding away. Lets do it!

SEATTLE MARINERS ML -120

Back in business is the best way to describe this underachieving Mariners team and by the looks of things, oddsmakers have not yet made the needed adjustments. We are talking about a Seattle team that should have a lot more wins and a lot less losses but that are slowly picking up steam after winning the first two games of this series. Let it be known that the Mariners have not swept a three or four game series all season long and the emphasis today for these guys is going to be to bring home the bacon before taking on the Royals. It's important for them to win this game not only because it would be their first three games sweep but also because the Royals are a beatable team and if the Mariners can keep winning in Kansas City, they will then head to Anaheim for a huge three games series against the Angels that could decided who takes the lead in this division (Angels have a 4.5 game lead right now on Seattle). On the mound today for the Devil Rays is Jae Seo who has had success pitching against the Mariners in the past (2 career starts) but this is a whole different ball game and he is in for some surprises. In his three home starts, Seo has been horrendous allowing 5 HR's and 14 ER's in only 17.1 innings of work. The D-Rays are 1-2 in his last three starts and he has allowed 16 hits in 15.1 innings of work in those starts with an ERA of 7.04 and a WHIP of 1.43. It's also important to note that the Tampa Bay lineup has not supported Seo with any kind of power, averaging 2.3 runs per game in his last three starts. That can't be good news in this game seeing how the Mariners are sending a left handed pitcher in Horacio Ramirez and the D-Rays are batting only .239 versus lefties in their last 10 games. Ramirez has been rocked in his three road starts this season but those were against the Tigers, Red Sox and Angels (all three are division leaders). So now that he faces the bottom feeding Devil Rays, expect to see a brighter side to Ramirez on the road. In his last three starts, the Mariners are 2-1 and are finally starting to realize that supporting Ramirez with runs is what works for him. In those starts the bats have hooked him up with 5.3 runs scored per game and 7.1 runs per game scored on the year when Ramirez is the starting pitcher. The Mariners bats are finally starting to come around as they are hitting .301 versus right handed pitchers in their last 10 games which immediately tells me that Seo is going to get himself in trouble most of the afternoon. So now that we have determined who has the edge in starting pitchers, you have to admit that the Mariners bullpen has also been great. In their last 10 games, the bullpen has an ERA of 2.37 and thats great news for Seattle backers just in case Ramirez starts getting out of hand. One thing is for sure about this Seattle team is that when an opposing pitcher is struggling, they sure as hell know how to punish him. They are 8-2 in their last 10 games versus a starting pitcher who's WHIP is higher than 1.30 on the season and Seo's WHIP is at 1.80 on the year. Tampa Bay is turning into their usual disfunctional selves recentlty and not to blame Dukes for his personal problems and all but let me tell you that they don't help. The Devil Rays have lost five straight at home, are showing no signs of improving and making things even worse than that is the fact that the D-Rays are 0-6 in Jae Seo's last six starts versus the American League West (powerhouse hitting teams usually). I really like the fact that not many public squares are on the Mariners here because I really sense the urgency for this team to get the sweep and I have full confidence that they can pull it off with the guys they are throwing out there today. Tampa Bay has too many problems right now and Seo is not about to solve those problems. The way the Mariners have been hitting, I have no doubts they are going to come close to winning every single game from here on in before the big clash with the Angels next week. That clash of course would be for first place but only if the Mariners start by winning today. Its really really hot today so its up to the Mariners to keep things hot and show me the CASH FUCKIN MONEY WITH SOME SPICE BABY!

10-4 End of 3rd inning!!

yeah well I capped this game with Horacio Ramirez pitching at least 5-6 innings but he left injured after the 2nd inning with a 4-3 only to be replaced with some asshole that allowed 7 runs. Im not saying I capped the game right but this is a piss off to have things turn out like this. Game not over bro...dont take out the bubbly just yet.

Tough loss, wish I could know how things would have gone had Horacio not been hurt but its water under the bridge now. I don't like any of the 7pm games so what im gonna do is bet some MLS Soccer and build the bank for some 10pm baseball.

CHICAGO FIRE +0.5 (+105)

See you all after that game for a big baseball winner in the night cap.

Unlike all the other sports I post for, I haven't kept an MLB record for my picks but I know someone has...they posted it a few weeks back. GL tonight.

Okay well thats 0-2 in tennis today (after a 13-1 run the last two weeks), 0-1 in bases and 0-1 in MLS. I don't know that I have had a bad day like this in a long time, maybe its because its the hottest May 24 ever in Toronto history but who knows. Okay anyways enough of the sob fuckin story, im sick of losing, not used to it (had like 20 winning days in a row all sports combined). I capped this game last night and came up with a big winner. Here we go:

SAN DIEGO PADRES ML -146

So the easy way out of things tonight would be to jump on the underdog Cubbies here because they have lost both games in the series and because they are sending their best pitcher to the mound. Yeah the juicy underdog price looks pretty damn good but I am not falling for it like I would have in the past. No matter what you throw at me for this game and no matter anyone says about the Cubs, this is a horrendous spot for them and I am not about to waste a penny on these clowns. The Cubs are hopeless when it comes to playing out West and for anyone who remembers betting on them the last time they were here and down 0-3 in a four games series, you all remember Chris Young being on the mound for the Padres and you all remember the Cubs getting their asses handed to them 8-3. So what would be different tonight anyways? I mean they have not won in San Diego since June 5, 2005 and there is nothing that tells me that they can get things done tonight. In the first two games of the series the Cubs have managed only two runs scored and like I said before, with Chris Young on the mound, I don't know how they are going to score more than one run tonight. Young has been as lights out as it gets in his last three starts as the team is 2-1 in those starts and he has allowed only 14 hits in 18 innings of work. However, some maybe concerned with Jason Marquis being on the other side of the mound tonight because the Cubs are 2-1 in his last three starts as well and in those starts Marquis has allowed only 15 hits in 20.0 innings of work. In those games his ERA is 4.05 but his WHIP is 0.95. It doesn't get much better than the way Marquis has pitched recently or does it? Maybe it does...with Mr. Chris Young. You can never expect much run support from this Padres lineup but every once in a while they explode but I don't think thats happening tonight. However, they are a very tactical bunch that relies heavily on low scoring and very precise tactics that include taking an early lead and simply sitting back and holding on. With a bullpen that has an ERA of 0.32 in their last 10 games, I think Chris Young is in good hands should he leave the game with a tie game or with a one run lead. A couple of other angles you may want to consider tonight is that the Cubs are 1-6 in their last seven games as a road underdog and they are also 1-10 in their last 11 meetings with this Padres team that has completely owned them the last two years. What I really like about this game is the fact that Rob Drake is behind home plate because he is one of the biggest homers in the majors and he is a big fan of pitchers who work fast and get him home in time to eat some Big Mac and fries with a SHREK toy. The home team has won the last five games he has umped and I expect the same tonight. I am on the Padres in this game and all I have to say is they better hook me up with some winnings for the day. CASH MONEY STYLES BABY!

Ah Flava, what to do, what to do? Two tough losses and I hope the Padre game was not simply a chase following the Mariners defeat earlier in the day. Whatever the case, tough luck!
