Just got word a work associate passed away...young too. Didn't even know he was sick.

I've been pretty fortunate, have only lost one family member to cancer, other than those that have passed away from old age. Of all the people I hung out with in high school, college, and since, only one friend has passed away. So fortunate that sometimes I think I must live in a bubble and the threat of death is non-existant. I guess death isn't really a threat, but you never know, it could happen any day.

RIP Clark

I'd also like to know if anyone has heard from Insiders. I'm worried about the man, he seemed to drop off the face of the Rx, and I don't recall him not checking in every now in then during football offseason. I thought he bet bases too.

I am a fuckin gonner any day

You know by the look of the picture of your foot I saw a while back, I'm guessing you are a large man. But you know, sometimes I think you're just as damned if you are healthy. My mom has smoked every day for 60 years now, physically she's healthy as all get go. The Alzheimers sucks though.

Had a buddy die at age 30 a few years back and now not a day goes by I don't think about death.

In all honesty we would all be different people if we lived everyday like it was close to our last but instead we take it for granted.

WC, Insiders bet NL-only baseball last season, if I remember correctly.

Was thinking about him the other day too...definitely worried, guy has been MIA for a while. Hope everything's OK. Anyone on here know him personally?

Former high school classmate recently was burned to death in a car accident. 3 people have died swimming in a lake near my house in the last 10 years. One of my friends saw 2 of them die on seperate occasions.

Sorry for you GIJoe. Death is a threat we all live under, but few admit.

Most of us only live once, the rest never live at all.

Once you come to grips with a simple thing, you'll be ok ( or that's how I figure it anyway):

I've been trying to remember the guy's handle for weeks since I had the same concern.

You're right, he always showed up during MLB with his NL capping. From reading his stuff he wasn't a young guy either. Lived in the Phoenix area if anyone knows him personally.

On the bright side, maybe he just moved on from the Rx..

I live with this thought almost every day because I suffered from heart disease since 1st grade. In the last couple years it has almost totally healed itself. Even still, I have been conditioned to be a worrier because of my past history. This is why I get a checkup every year. It helps me not to worry.

There is a sign hanging inside Bubba Gumps on Maui that says, " getting old is not for pussies"...
