Leaves DeSalvo out there to struggle against while the Angels tack on a couple of runs. As soon as he saw that DeSalvo didn't have his stuff, he should have considered pulling him. Now the Angels have man on 2nd and 3rd with no outs and up 3
He's an idiot for pulling Clippard, terrible move. So they kid gave up 3 runs through 4 on 77 pitches, that's not worth pulling him. Oh yeah, and he gave up 0 walks, where DeSalvo gives up 2 right off the bat. Garbage.
Clip was getting hit *hard*
Also, wait until the end of the game, there may be more to the story then meets the eye, for instance, did Clip tweak something? A hammy or something like that?
The Yanks have nobody in their pen that can do damage control in a game...everytime they need the pen to keep the game manageable they implode and a somewhat close game becomes a blowout
