the difference is the Red Sox got stronger in the pitching dept, while the Yanks did nothing to improve their pen or rotation....thinking the Rocket is the answer is crazy. Like plugging a leaky dam with bubble gum..they need a complete pitching overhaul, not used parts to hold things together..
I think Torre is at the end of his rope. May be gone before the holiday if the Angels sweep em.
