do the managers for the cubs feel that they have to abuse their starters? Seems like they have more pitching injuries then any other team. It isnt much of a wonder why when the starter throws 125 pitches. Cant understand why you would leave Zambrono (supposed to be your ace) out there to load the bases in the eighth with a pitch count as high as he had.

I know what you're saying based on the day and age we're in, but I can't believe it's gotten to the point where we worry when a starter throws 125 pitches.

Pitching is watered down, bullpens sucks pretty much across the board and managers still give their best pitchers the hook when they throw 110+ pitches.

dont think it was pineilla's fault...

if the 2nd baseman wa son the bad, they coulda gunned out whats his name running to 2nd, on the line drive to center...

also, shortstop fucked up on what shoulda been double play ball
