Ok, got two checks from Bodog.....

under 2K, they are saying the larger checks are taking longer. I got the two checks a week ago today. I have been waiting over a month for payouts

I spoke with Bodog yesterday the problem with checks definitely is not for lack of available funds. I emailed both players waiting for checks yesterday and explained where their withdrawals stand and both should be hearing from Bodog today with further information.

The problem with Bodog right now is similar to the problem with several other books, checks take longer than they used to. Bodog advertises 10 to 15 business days on their websites for checks to be delivered via couriers such as Fed Ex. They realise this is not what players want and are working hard on getting this option speeded up, hopefully that will happen soon. Western Union is a much quicker option right now and you can get one free WU withdrawal per week. They do advise players even WU can take up to 10 business days but the truth is they want to err on the side of caution. I know for certain the entire payout structure at Bodog is being looked at with an eye on speeding up all methods of payment.

The important thing to remember is this is not because of lack of cash, that is not what is causng the delays with checks, the problem lies with the processor banks. Since Neteller went down for US residents this has been a common problem, I know some books have better arrangements with their banks but that doesn't mean that all books have the same type of relationship with their banks. The issue is complicated by being global in scope and basically right now is part of the reality of doing business Offshore.

Santo, that is correct. Unfortunately big checks have to go out snail mail at many spots. I am not 100% certain regarding Bigbet's check I because I do not know the size.

I agree...they can easily get a checking account that they can use to get checks out faster than a month...look at BetJam, Oly, SBG Global, & 5Dimes. You can get paid much faster than a month w/ these books. :aktion033
