Not a good night last night as I went 1-3 and lost 2.19 units. I lost all three favorite plays, which is unusual for me, while I hit my only underdog play. Things might be turning a little bit as with my way of thinking. I am starting to lose some favs, but more dogs I pick are coming in. It is starting to even out a little bit, so it might be start for me to start looking for some more dogs than what I have been.

Here I am again. Almost 3:00 in the morning and at the computer and have to be at work again at 6:00. It is hard to believe how little sleep I have had in the past three days. Just too hard lying down when all I do is cough. I think it might be getting a little better as I actually slept for 11:00 pm to about 2:00. Lately that is a full nights sleep for me. Sorry for rambing about being sick. I am just sick of being sick. I can’t say it has affected my picks as I have had good days as well as bad days lately. Thank God I am off work on Monday. I need to try and get back to sleep for an hour or so.

Cincinnati -116 vs Pittsburgh………….I am a phillies fan, but I live closer to Pittsburgh. Hard to take the struggling reds, but the price is right on this one. They have been pretty decent sized favs the past two and lost. Zach Duke has sucked this year and the chances of the reds lighting him up are pretty good. The reds are not as bad as they have been playing. Even if they were, sucky teams still win around 60 games a year. If they were not in the middle of this horrible streak, this line would be -150 or better. I will play the percentages and say they avoid the sweep and UNLOAD on Duke on Sunday and get an easy win.

Detroit +102 vs Cleveland………….I lost with this one yesterday and will come right back with it again. Pitching matchup a wash, so I think home field makes the difference tonight. Not much to back this other than gut feelings. Sometimes that is all you need.

Atlanta +110 vs Phillies……………It would be too easy to take Cole Hamels at this price as well as they have played in this series. Atlanta going into this series has played very well vs the phillies and now they have dropped the first two. I just don’t see a sweep even with Cole Hamels on the hill for the fightin phils. Every now and then the phillies bats fall asleep and my gut tells me Sunday will be one of those days. I think Hamels throws a pretty good game, but will not get any support and he will lose his second game in a row.

Washington +162 vs St Louis…………..I was on the cards last night, they were due. Many were on the nats as a big dog yesterday because they were playing great ball, just knocking the cover off the thing lately. They still have a ton of confidence right now and can win this game. The cards continue to lose games they should not. They are just not the same team that we are used to seeing. Too good of odds to pass up here.

That is all from me. Better stop at four. I have been sliding a little bit lately. Would like to blame it on being sick, but I can’t. Found three dogs today and my only favorite (Cincinnati) sucks enough to be a dog. Hopefully it all works out for me.

Good Luck Everybody!! Back on Monday. Hopefully at a more decent hour than what it is now.

This works for coughs:

Generously cover the soles of your feet with Vicks Vapo Rub and then put on a pair of socks.

This works in 10 min. and is guaranteed. You can thank me later.
