AGREE on that, hey JM O's 7.5 back. East runner up would be saying the yanks still have a shot. Usually 95 games takes it. The Yanks would have to go 74-31 (.739 ball or thereabouts). That's a tall order. Mariners above .500 and fairing well so far. Tribe is overperforming as well.

Then there is always the TWINS and A's that liek to go on late season runs.

If the Twinkies get any pitching, or the White Sox begin to gel, both teams have a shot....still real early and we will know more come all star break...

The yankees probly have the easiest schdule over the next two weeks, and the offense seems to be clicking. Hughes is due back soon, and if Giambi can come back strong i think they could make a push.

5 - Bal
3 - White sox (falling apart)

If the yanks can win 10 out of 15 over this stretch they will be sitting in good shape.
