______________________________________________________

Was hoping yesterday turned out a little better than it did, but still a small winning day. Hoping to do a little better today. Can't do much for writeups today though as I'm short on time. Going to post the 1 o'clocks now to get them out of the way.

LA Angels +123: Big pitching mismatch in this one and I just can't resist going right back to the Angels. Mussina is not his old self. Thought the books would finally adjust and make the Angels a favorite, but apparently not. Lackey has had trouble in the past against the Yankees, but he was able to hold them to 3 runs in his only appearance in Yankee Stadium last year. Plus, his stuff just keeps getting better and better. Damon is also out again today, which give NY a hole at the top of their order. 1.5 units to win 1.85.

NY Mets -112: 1.65 units to win 1.5.

Philadelphia -132:
Got this at -116 last night and was going to leave it out of my plays at this price, but with Chipper out I'll use this price for my record. 1.98 units to win 1.5.

Adding a few more. Not sure if this will be it for the day.

Chicago (AL) -138: 2.07 units to win 1.5.
Seattle -120: 1.8 units to win 1.5.
Boston -122: 1.83 units to win 1.5.
Pittsburgh +125: 1.5 units to win 1.88.

Thanks guys. Forgot one from last night. Took Houston -117. Still a good price at -127, despite Houston's recent woes. Oswalt is a great stopper and has had a lot of success in the past against Arizona.

Houston -127: 1.91 units to win 1.5.

BOL to everyone on their cards today.

Total card. Adding San Fran -1.5. Giants have killed Buchholz in the past and Lowry is solid at home. Seems like solid value there. Was about to add the Red Sox over and realized there's no Papi in the lineup today. Probably still solid value there considering how these last 2 games have gone and that we see a pitching downgrade from yesterday. But I'm going to hold off except for a small action play on that one.

Angels: 1.5 units to win 1.85.
Mets: 1.68 units to win 1.5.
Phillies: 1.98 units to win 1.5.
White Sox: 2.07 units to win 1.5.
Mariners: 1.8 units to win 1.5.
Red Sox: 1.83 units to win 1.5.
Pirates: 1.5 units to win 1.88.
Astros: 1.91 units to win 1.5.
Giants -1.5, +142: 1 unit to win 1.42.

Mets, Phillies, and Pirates looking real good so far my friend.
Angels are threatening, just cut the lead in half and looking to do more damage.
The White Sox hopefully don't have another letdown day from their offense as they had runners on 1st and 2nd w/ nobody out in the first and came up empty. I'll rally my boys for you.
And you already know I'm on the Astros so let's hope they along w/ the A's can come up big today.
Kick some ass my friend.

All of that... AND the Giants are playing to avoid a sweep! Giants are the play.

5-1 +6.16 on the day so far. White Sox didn't show up today. Currently losing the Boston game 4-3. Sox have had their chances all day and haven't gotten it done yet. Wouldn't be surprised to see more scoring from either or both sides in that one. Giants are tied 1-1, and so far it hasn't exactly played out as the ideal game to have a run line. Astros are scoreless in the 4th.

I'm going to have a play on Sunday Night Baseball, but not sure if I'm going to cap it myself or just follow someone here. Been wrong on the first 2 games of the series and may be better off letting someone else figure it out for me. We'll see. Hope everyone has had a solid day so far.

Real Solid day Jibba...Keep it up.

Thanks man. You persuaded me to stick with the Tigers for one more night. BOL.

Detroit +110: 1 unit to win 1.10.

Also going to follow Pyro on the run line here for 1 unit to win 2+. Pretty damn attractive at +206. Just going to make it the one small official play though, since I didn't do as much work as usual on this one thanks to Pyro. Lot of trends favor Detroit here though. One of the biggest is Cleveland's inability to beat Maroth, a pitcher I generally don't bet on much. I've rode Carmona quite a bit thus far, but I think we could see a small step back tonight.

Jibba hope this one cashes for us tonight. I actually got a better # than i posted at +100. I really think some strong sharp money hits Detroit before first pitch...Public already starting to sway their way over to the Indians side tonight.

Yeah, I got a better number myself. Gotta love MB. I got Detroit +112 and -1.5 at +210. Just posted the readily available line. Feeling good about this one though. Think it's the right side.

6-2 for +5.75 units, but losing the San Fran run line play and have Detroit pending tonight. Fast becoming an easy fade on run line plays. Normally the team I play -1.5 doesn't even win, so at least I'm saving juice on a play I would have lost anyways. Frustrating though.

Was looking over tomorrow's lines a little early and not really liking what I see. Lot of overpriced favorites right now so I'm hoping a lot of those lines come down. Can't imagine them actually rising from the prices they're at now, but if they do it looks like a dog day. BOL to everyone on their SNB play(s).
