Well Cubs have a 1-0 lead going into the 8th, Scott Eyre comes in and what do you know?? A homerun... Great game Rich Hill... Cubs bullpen is garbage, if their pen wasnt this bad they would be right with the Brewers

Serves em right for taking Rich Hill out after only 66 pitches just so they could have a pinch hitter with a man on third with 2 out in the 6th

it was actually the top of the 7th and in a 0-0 game i think that was the right call....

Cubs bat in the top... Couldn't have been top 7th. It was bottom 6th.

Hill was throwing a 3-hitter! WTF!

umm they PINCH HIT for Hill in the Top of the 7th... when you pinch hit for a pitcher in case you didnt know you then have to bring in a new pitcher

Yeah you're right about the top 7th, my bad. Confused as Hill only pitched 6 innings.

But you're missing the point. You don't take out a hot pitcher after 66 pitches

I would agree with you 99% of the time... but in a 0-0 game I cant argue with the call, especially with Daryl Ward one of the best if not the best pinch hitters in the game....

I was waiting for my Angels money to cash and roll it into the Dodgers game, couldn't do it in time and played the Dbacks for +140.

I guess we'll just agree to disagree then. I wouldn't have done it. Not in the 7th with 66 pitches. If Hill was at 80-90 pitches I would agree with you. But Hill could have gone the distance at his pace.

Oh, look, Derrek "I only get my hits in the beginning of the game with no one on base" Lee struck out

you must mean "Derek I am leading the majors in hitting and am a badass gold glove first baseman" just struck out
