Not doing too well the last few days and lost some coin on the Yankees today but I am intrigued by tonight's game and would rather bet on this than bet on the NBA game. Anyways, baseball is a complicated sport sometimes and it's a matter of getting in the right capping mind for a period of time and staying there. I have switched my capping style so many times and it hasn't gotten me anywhere recently. Okay so onto tonight.

CLEVELAND INDIANS ML -118

Wow...this is kinda like last Sunday Night when everyone was on the Mets but the line was moving the wrong way. Well not really because the action I have seen on the Tigers has moved the line down from what it opened at but today has been a day of trends and I am a big fan of following current trends. Did anyone else noticed what happened today? The Mets were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The LA Angels were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The Philadelphia Phillies were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The Seattle Mariners were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The Boston Red Sox were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The Colorado Rockies were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The San Diego Padres were up 2-0 in their series, they won and made it 3-0. The Arizona Diamondbacks were up were up 3-0 in their series, they won and made it 4-0. So that now makes the teams in a position to sweep or take perfect leads 8-0 today with six of them being road teams. In case you haven't noticed the pattern yet, the Cleveland Indians are up 2-0 in their series and can make it 3-0 tonight so why the hell not keep the trend going and bring this baby home. I know Detroit is 7-1 with Maroth on the mound this season but the Indians are on some kind of roll right now and I wouldn't put it past them to win this game. As a matter of fact, I think Maroth is going to be a bit rattled coming off his first loss of the year against the Angels last time out. Maroth has actually had to rely on bat support to win games in recent weeks which is why I think he is due for a spell of losses here. Fausto Carmona is quickly growing into one of the top pitchers in the Major Leagues and this is a great chance for him to showcase his stuff on National TV. Anyone who has watched the games of this series knows that the Detroit bullpen cannot be relied upon to keep games steady as they have an ERA of 7.09 over the last 10 games while the Indians have been impressive with their relief pitching grabbing an ERA of 2.84 in the last 10 games. I also know that the Tigers have lost five of their last six games as underdogs so everyone who thinks the price is too juicy to pass up has to think about this again. Maroth has been virtually unbeatable over the last two years and the Tigers have lost only once in his last seven home starts. However, his home opponents this season at home have been the LA Angels (loss), Minnesota Twins (win) and Kansas City Royals (win). Nothing impressive and nothing like this lineup of the Indians. Cleveland is now 5-1 in Carmona's last six starts and like I said before, this is the best price you will get on Carmona for the next little while. What this comes down to in the end is a combination of the Indians bullpen versus the Tigers bullpen, the big time trend of sweeps and 3-0 leads in baseball series all over the Country today and the fact that Cleveland is one of the best teams in the majors and the oddsmakers are still struggling to cope with that. I say the Indians find a way to win this like they have found a way to win the first two games despite not necessiraly being the better of the two teams on that given night. GO INDIANS!

Fausto Carmona Rating: 11.50
Mike Maroth Rating: 13.04

The lower the better in these ratings

Finally a big win to get back on track as the teams in a position to sweep a series or go up 3-0, all did. Yup...9-0 for those teams today most of them road teams. UNREAL!

See you all tomorrow, tennis wagering starts at 5:00am and I look to continue my 17-3 run in tennis.

Nice job, I was on the other side of this one. Always good to rebound after you take a tough loss.
