For the average GF fan this has a difficulty factor of around 8 out of a possible 10. For semi expert fans like myself it is fairly easy but does require some thought to make sure the four part answers of who, how,why and by who are correct. For the guys over in the huge Godfather Forum I use to post at (as Wilheim) it would have been answered in about five minutes or less.
A good example of a prominent character killed during the movie who is not part of the answer is Moe Green - Green had a key but still kind of a small part in the GF1, Moe was not at the wedding that we know of, meaning he wasn't in any wedding scenes in the actual movie. Moe was murdered in Las Vegas while getting a massage (shot in the eye) by a nameless Corleone family hit man on orders from Michael Corleone because he wouldn't sell his share of the hotel the family had money and the new look Fredo invested in.
Sonny Corleone, gunned down by several Tattaglia/Barzini alliance (really Barzini) hit men at the toll booth in order to soften up the Corleones and bring an end to the costly 5 families war of 1946.
