I had a bet going in tennis for the French Open was washed out with my guy leading one set to none so I had to scramble for this game and get in on some afternoon action. Let it be known that I also really like the White Sox in this game today but did not want to wait to bet on them and the price is a bit scary. Alright, I'll have more this afternoon and tonight. PITTSBURGH PIRATES ML -107
This wasn't too hard. Snell has been good enough on the road (had some bad luck) that he can keep things going for the Pirates. All nine teams that had a chance to sweep or go up 3-0 in their series did yesterday so why the hell would we buck the trend this time? We won't. Lohse was exposed against AL batters for being the fraud that he is, his confidence is shot and he has not been good enough at home for me to back him. The Pirates are finally starting to learn how to hit righties as they have hit .290 against the the last 10 games. The Reds are baseball's worst team and I have no problem fading them until they can show me otherwise. The Reds are 0-6 in Lohse's last 6 starts and I don't know how much more its gonna take for teams to realize that this guy does not belong in the Major Leagues at all. The Reds are also 3-14 in Lohse's last 17 starts as an underdog. The Pirates on the other hand, are 7-1 in their last 8 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of less than .400 and they are starting to play the way they did much earlier this season. Alright boys and girls its time to move in for the sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeep. GO PIRATES!
