Cards announcers were saying that the team president (MacGregor I think is who they referred to) is very upset with the club's performance... in the newspaper...and directed his comments to his manager and GM...
How could the president want to fire the two guys that were approved for...and given contract extensions? Seems odd to me.

That team has one of the best young hitters in all of baseball in Holliday...
I have no idea what his contract situation is...but they should extend him before he ever reaches free agency...seems like they have some pieces to contend in the West...
