Who will win the Stanley Cup and why?

Please provide the team and at least 1 reason why, ill start:

Ottawa:

Ottawa will win due to special teams, Ottawa has been nothing short on the penalty kill which neither the offensive minded penguins nor sabres could penetrate, they also had many scoring chances and even converted short handed. The ducks claim they are rough and tough and are gonna man-handle the sens, lets not forget, the ducks were the MOST PENALIZED TEAM of the year during the regular season and ALSO THE PLAYOFFS.

This is the "New NHL" if the ducks want to play rough and tough they are also sure to draw more penalties. The sens will make them pay, of that I have little doubt.

I'm not sold on Emery as a Stanley Cup winning goalie. Can he carry his team on the road (he will have to at least once).

Ottawa

Because despite Prong/Nieds our defense is deeper and Emery won't have to be the better goalie. Gotta get back to blocking every other shot tho, that sort of broke down towards the end of the Sabres series.

Oh yeah and our top line is miles ahead of the Ducks. They're gonna need a shitton of "balanced scoring" to compete.

Also I am a homer.

Ottawa wins in seven. They can roll 4 lines , Anaheim 3 . That will take it's toll on Anaheim. Anaheim most penalized team in the league. Ottawa's power play will be the difference. Anaheim's power play has been non-existent in these playoffs.

You know what is odd.

I think I am sensing that the American posters on the Rx are basically taking the Mighty Ducks, while the Canadian posters on the Rx are basically taking the Sentors, Leaf fans included.

Ottawa's defensemen are not that good on the forecheck. That's how you beat the Senators. Pittsburgh, New Jersey, Buffalo, they all probably knew what they had to do to win against Ottawa. Those teams did not have the players to execute such a game plan. Anaheim does, we have to see if the Ottawa can with stand the physical pressure the Might Ducks forwards will present, and the pressure of the Stanley Cup finals, which they have no experience in basically. Has a single Senators player ever played in the finals before?

Take Anaheim for the Cup. Will Don Cherry say the same thing? :scared: :discuss: :scared:

A good friend of mine has Anahiem down here in Costa Rica, they call him the Black Cat because he never wins....so I loaded up on Ottawa, even though a Canandian team has not won in awhile...
