Conferences that have combined for two out of the last three CWS titles-the Big West and Pac 10 get three or four teams into the 64 team field WHILE the ACC who has never had a team win the CWS gets seven bids. I am amazed at how much power this mediocre conference yields in the selection committees of all NCAA sports. ACC teams never seem to get screwed.
Dont tell me about Miami cuz they havent done jack as an acc team. Hell even the SEC only got four teams in. If a big west school could get the favorable draws that the acc does they would skate into omaha. UCR wins the big west and is "rewarded" with a trip to the Pac 10 champ ASU sun devils. UCI,San Diego,UCR and the zona schools all have a legit shot but they all have to get by each other while the acc schools toil with stetson and winthrop.
