Anyone else look at todays matchups and see a whole lot of value in playing some dogs??

Seems like everyone is in love with the Dodgers, but Washington has been hot-- LA's offense has been anemic. Sure Penny is LA's ace but I feel like this is one of the games that ends up in the "L" column for Mr. Penny.

Simontacchi should be good enough to keep the Dodger bats quiet while Washington offense brings it home. I'll take Washington at +150

I'm also playing Seattle as I think whatever road "bug" Ervin Santana has that causes him to have a 9.30 ERA on the road, will catch up to his pristine Home ERA of 2.33. And at +140 I can't resist. Hopefully it gets to +150 by gametime.

MARLINS. What more needs to be said? Cubs can't find their bats and D.Willis is NOT the solution to that problem. The guy is a gamer and knows how to win at Wrigley. Cubs are slumping while the Marlins are thumping baseballs and scoring lots of runs.

Other games out there are Atlanta, San Diego, Toronto and Texas.. None of which I'll be playing. I feel the best of it is right up above.

I'll also be playing the Mets for a unit as well. San Francisco plays like shit on the road and as much as I like Lincecum, I just don't think SanFran bats will be able to put up much (if anything on the board).

Your thoughts and opinions are certainly welcome

You forgot about the Blue Jays.

I have them listed as a team that I'm not playing, but-- I have thought about it. I try to limit the amount of plays per day to 4.

I haven't actually dialed anything into solidify these plays (i go through a local). Lines are made available early evening. So, depending on the lines offered, I might add or change a game. As it sits right now, I really like these teams and probably wont change anything.

Love the doggies today. On the Padres, D-Backs, Marlins, Bluejays and Rockies. Kept the Jays play smaller because law of averages says that the Yankees have to win at some point. Made some nice money fading them the past few days, but still kicking myself for chickening out of a play on Toronto yesterday. Do have to say though that I really don't think the Tribe will be a dog that brings it home today. Sox are lethal against lefties in Fenway, and Sowers is just not good enough to handle this offense, with or without Ortiz.
