Listen to the fucked up thing that happened to me today. I stopped to fill my truck up with gas at 4pm. Everyone was getting off work so naturally the gas station was packed. It was hot as fuck so I get out thinking i was gonna pump, pay and haul ass.
I get ready to pump the gas and its on of these pay first places. My truck usually holds about 60 something dollars worth but I had been riding on empty for awhile plus gas has gone up so I take 80 inside. I have to wait in line for about 5-7 minutes just to give her the cash to turn the pump on.
So its my turn and i hand her 4 twenties and said "80 or as close as I can get on pump 4" I walk outside and pump in 68.50, then return to get my change and a drink. I wait in the long ass line again and say I got 68.50 plus this drink and she just looks at me. I was like "can I get my change?" and she said "you only gave me $40." At first I was thinking that I fucked up but I thought and I 100% remember spreading the 4 twenties on the counter. long story short I argued back and forth with the crack whore and finally said fuck it I'm leaving. she went outside and got my tag number and called the fucking cops on me. I just left and said fuck it. The more I think about it I don't think she was trying to steal, I could tell by how mad she was that she really thought that I was trying to steal. What should I do? I thought about calling and getting them to play the tape showing me paying the $80. I guess i could be losing my mind but I'd risk 1000 to win 100 that i gave her fat ass $80 oh!!!!! and my most important point almost left out...... how the fuck did i run it up to $68.50 if I only gave her $40????????? doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose of the pay before pump idea?
