Which is triple pop.

Lorena Ochoa -125 over Annika Sorenstam

Lorena coming off win at Sybase Open, Lorena 2 wins, 2 2nds, and only 1 finish out of top 10 out of 10 events. Annika herniated disc in between vertebra 2 and 3, and a bulging disc between 5 and 6. Only reason she is even playing this week is she is "THE HOST" , Annika hasnt picked up a club in 6 weeks, as Rest is the doctors prescription. Annika was having a hard time breaking 70 before her layoff, Ochoa owned her in this PROP before Annikas injury. 125 is very cheap, should be 225 imo.

Then it was time to slip into something more comfortable.
So she put on her neck brace.
Sorenstam sat in a conference room, resting her right arm on a table, unable to lift it over her shoulder. She gently rubbed an area at the base of her index finger that she said was numb. Her goal is to return to the LPGA Tour by May 31 for her new tournament, the Ginn Tribute Hosted by Annika, but even that is in doubt because no one knows the extent of her injury.
She has a ruptured disk in her neck and a bulging disk in her back, which explains why she is off to her worst start since 1999. But that might not be the only thing affecting her game.
Not even an MRI can detect desire.
Nor can a neck brace keep the 36-year-old Swede from looking more content than ever.
Sorenstam once found her fulfillment on the golf course, whether that meant shooting a 59, teeing it up against the men at the Colonial, winning the career Grand Slam, pursuing the calendar Grand Slam and otherwise establishing herself as the greatest of her generation.
"I do want to make clear that the competition still means a lot," said Sorenstam, who is third on the LPGA career list with 69 victories and tied for fourth with 10 majors. "There's nothing like going down the 18th fairway with your adrenaline pumping, and when I get that chance, I don't think about other things.
"But when you've got the tournament weeks, the practice ... until you get to Sunday, it's tough to get the match lit."
What motivates her more these days is building a brand.
She opened the 5,400-square-foot academy Monday and has plans to design a golf course. Sorenstam is so involved with details that she even picked out the gray-and-blue carpeting in the academy.
"Right now, this is what excites me. That's really the truth," she said. "I've tried to motivate myself at times. I know I can play. If I really have to gear up for an event, I can do it. But it's almost like, 'I've done that so many times.' This is thrilling to me. This is more about giving back. I'm very complete right now."
Sorenstam has dropped casual hints over the last several years that she wants more out of life than a collection of trophies, even as they were piling up at a ridiculous rate. She won 43 times in a five-year span starting in 2001. After each season, it seemed inevitable that she eventually would challenge the record 88 victories by Kathy Whitworth.
That record now looks out of reach.
Lorena Ochoa is on the verge of replacing Sorenstam at No. 1 in the world ranking. A fresh challenge finally appears to have arrived from young Americans such as Morgan Pressel, Brittany Lincicome and Paula Creamer.
Winning is harder, even before the injury.
"Now it's like I'm frozen," Sorenstam said. "I can't do anything. I hope I'm ready to come back."
The time off, however long it turns out to be, might be the best thing for her. It will give her body time to heal and allow her to decide how much golf means to her at this stage in her career.
Dottie Pepper, a 17-time winner on the LPGA Tour, remembers the first time she had shoulder surgery and sat out four months. It was her first time away from golf, and she learned that it wasn't all bad.
"I don't blame her one bit for feeling that way," Pepper said. "In Annika's case, she has poured 150 percent of herself into golf. Then you go through this life experience and learn something else is out there. You realize you're a lot more rounded person than you give yourself credit for."
Sorenstam has known only one gear during her domination of women's golf. A few years ago, she was so exhausted at the end of the season that she began to itch. She discovered a horrendous case of the hives, and caddie Terry McNamara demanded she rest.
"That's my problem," Sorenstam said. "I'm just go, go, go. I need somebody to tell me to stop. And here I am."
It is a forced layoff, and a chance for Sorenstam to take inventory.
She has always loved a good challenge, and her latest conquest was ending a 10-year drought at the U.S. Women's Open last summer by playing 90 holes in four days at Newport Country Club. But she couldn't stop Ochoa in a showdown at the Samsung World Championship in the fall, which enabled the Mexican star to end Sorenstam's five-year reign as the LPGA player of the year.
The injury played a big role in that.
Once she heals, the struggle will be finding a balance between building an empire and embellishing a Hall of Fame career.
"I've worked so hard at everything else," she said. "I decided, 'You can't be mad at yourself. Look at what you've achieved on the course, and also off the course.' I just have to accept that. But I've been so driven by results for so long, and by expectations, that it's tough to go out there and shoot over par. I know I'm better than that."

Annika Sorenstam out for a month with back injury
Annika Sorenstam will be out at least a month because of a ruptured disk in her back, leaving the LPGA Tour without its top player and one of its best draws.
"Obviously it's not good for anybody if Annika is not playing," tour veteran Laura Davies said. "It's the same as if Tiger (Woods) had a monthlong injury and a bad back. Not that people wouldn't watch it, but they'd rather see the premier players up there, and Annika is and has been a premier. Has been for a long time."
Sorenstam withdrew Thursday from the Ginn Open, putting her reign atop the women's world rankings in jeopardy.
"I've been playing with quite a bit of pain for the past several weeks," Sorenstam said in a statement. "I couldn't take it much more and decided it was time to see someone."
First-round co-leader Lorena Ochoa could supplant Sorenstam atop the rankings next week. Sorenstam has held the No. 1 spot every week since the Rolex rankings were introduced on tour in February 2006.
In addition to the ruptured disk, Sorenstam said doctors also discovered a bulging disk problem. She said she would see a neurosurgeon in Miami later Thursday to figure out what to do next.
Several tour players agreed that the 36-year-old Sorenstam's absence hurts.
"I respect her very much and hope that it's not threatening to her career," Hall of Famer Nancy Lopez said. "We need her and she's a great player. It's tough when you get physically tough. I hope that she comes back. I'll be praying for her and I hope that everything works out good for her because she's a great lady and I want her to come back quick."
Sorenstam still plans to open her Annika Academy at Ginn Reunion Resort on Monday.

Annika is 37, she is setting up her academy, she is doing her foundations, she aint playing golf. She knows Ochoa is better, she wants to make her money off of her "name" whiles she is still somewhat relevant.

I took Lorena for the first round. Thanks Rail.

Does anyone know if there will be any 2nd-round bets available?

Okay can someone explain to me why my wager was graded as lost? Johnson was at -4 after nine holes and Olazabal was at Even. I get home and my wager is graded lost and it says Johnson withdrew.

How fuckin cheap is that? They count that as a loss??????

johnson wasn't -4...johnson blew up after the 7th hole and most golf rules state whoever completes the most holes.

he triple bogeyed number 15 to go to 3 over...so he was losing anyways.

Mickleson quit after 11 holes. The best source for golf information is from the caddies.
