Havent we already gone over this with the Diaw, Stoudemire suspensions? A few steps is okay, 20-25 feet is not okay. Several of the players on the Spurs bench got up and walked a few steps but Stern didnt suspend them because it wasnt as far as Stoudemire and Diaw walked. There is leniency for a gut instinct natural reaction for a second or two, but if you walk for more than a couple seconds, youre suspended.
Do you really think your slow, fat, retarded ass could do a better job running up and down the court for 48 minutes in front of 20,000 people trying to watch 10 different players at the same time? It's easy to always make the right call 100% of the time when youre watching on your couch but when youre an actual ref on the court, its totally different. Respect their job, its not an easy one. They get calls wrong here and there but they dont have the luxury of instant replay or sweet camera angles like we do.
