Prepaid credit cards...

This may be a ridiculous question ,but i am really confused about these cards. Can you purchase one of these cards with your credit card? reason being, is that most books wont accept the normal credit card BUT will accept the prepaid ones. Also can you purchase any of these cards online with your credit card?thanks.

every week or 2 the same thread on these come up....if you take a second to use the SERACH function you can see all the threads pertaining to this subject...

i did do a search on the subject and found nothing pertaining to purchasing a card with a credit card.But thank you for the suggestion.

RDC-3 try Netspend Prepaid Visa Cards

You can buy them online which automatically means you have to be able to buy them with a CC. Remember most of these pre paid credit/debit cards are ways to deposit only, you can not get paid back by them, you have to use whatever others methods particular books have available.

Another one my friend uses, so I can vouch for is wiredplastic.com .

They allow gambling purchases, it's also a prepaid visa. I think it costs something to load money on it though. Check the fees, not sure.

I must be blind AL, but i still cant see where you can put money on the card with a credit card.they do have other ways but nothing mentions using a cc to fund the prepaid card.

wish I had read ur post before I left because the Green card is wha I have and its useless. Can not use it. once I get my card in the mail will I be able to at least use it at ATMs so I can get my money back? or do I have to use it on purchases?

get the visa gift to go

and no you can not purchase with a credit card... only debit or cash

you pay about $6 fee for $100 card

i thought your question was a good one. Not sure why Dante gave you grief on it! Its a lot better new thread than the Gay rape gang the Dutch are worried about.

anyway, yes you can use your credit card to buy them. But the Walgreens card Vanilla does not work at any book (US addresses only) so be careful what you buy!

thanks "try". I try not to post something that had been brought up before because I know it annoys people. I appreciate everyone's advice as it has helped me and probably many others.

I don't think these "pre-paid cards help anyone but the books overall. Maybe I'm just short sighted.
