Barrett's lip was cut up pretty good by Zambrano...in the clubhouse...

Said both will be disciplined...

Cubs had a players-only meeting a couple of days ago. Barrett's lackadaisical play was brought up then. Far too many mental errors out there

I missed it. Damn. I feel bad for Cub fans. Seriously I feel bad because I suffered for years as a Sox fan and it sucks. Chicago is a good sports town and Cub fans deserve better. Some bad luck with all the injuries has hurt too. Lou has his hands FULL.

Zambrano and Barrett are going to get traded...probably during their suspensions...

I do not think Piniella likes either of 'em...and if Hendry gets the boot...then it will be a trifecta.

It was hilarious: in the middle of the big inning, Barrett had a passed ball when he was apparently crossed up by Zam-bum-o, and in his haste to pounce on the ball and get the runner advancing to third, he fired it into left field, allowing the runner to score. After the inning, Z confronted B, twice pointing to his own head, as in "Think! Use your head!" B's back was to he camera so you couldn't even see his face to try to lip read, but he pointed out high onto the field, and it was easy to guess what he said: "Hey, Dickweed, I'll own up to one of those 7 runs, what about the 13 hits and the other six runs?" Z seemed to take exception to that and sucker punched B, fat punk muthafucka...

Sweet Lou needs to go. He has no desire to win, all that he wants is the spotlight of being the Manager of the Chicago Cubs. Get rid of him, his heart isnt in it.

After the errors Zambrano just threw a couple of batting practice fast balls that Atlanta crushed. The Atlanta pitcher even almost hit 1 out of the park.

Zambrano is famous for this stuff. Once things get tough for him he quits! Would not sign him for 1 million a year!

The whole team should have been pissed off at him. Barrett at least had the balls to confront him about it. The rest of the team is a bunch of pu$$ys including the Manager!

It didn't look to me as though barrett confronted anyone. zambrano got in barretts face and barrett looked like a ***** and that he knew he wasn't givin it 100%
