Lou Piniella is going to get suspension for his antics in the game just now. Pagan gets thrown out at 3rd after a passed ball and Piniella just goes over the board and even kicked dirt on the 3rd base umpire quite a few times and then kicked his hat towards the umps as well.

Then the fans loaded the outfield with bottles and the Braves were pulled off the field as the grounds crew now has to cleanup the mess.

Man, what a black eye to the city this team has been the last two days.
So fucking sad.

hey ramon.....compare the 2 sceanrios...which was a better gamble.....

if pagan initially tried for third on what shoulda been triple in corner?

or trying to advance on a ball that didnt get close to far enough from saltamachia

They're both huge risks considering you're leading off the inning.
If I had to choose one, turning the double into a triple would've been the somewhat safer gamble. The guy has to throw you out from the rightfield corner, not from 90 feet away.

AS A DIE-HARD CUBS FAN I SEE NOTHING WRONG WITH TRYING TO LITE A FIRE UNDER THIS TEAMS ASS,AND I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF THIS, BUT SOMETHING TELLS ME YOUR CONCERN ABOUT THE CITY GETTING A BLACK EYE OVER THIS IS A CROCK OF SHIT. ITS JUST ANOTHER CHANCE FOR YOU TO TAKE A SHOT ON THE CUBS.

SOMETHING ALSO TELLS ME YOU WOULD OF NEVER POSTED THIS AFTER YOUR TEAM FELL FLAT ON ITS FACE 5 MINUTES LATER.

WORRY ABOUT YOUR OWN CIRCUS, YOU HAVE PLENTY OF CLOWNS AND MONKEYS OVER THERE.

Spoken like a true, blue, dellusional Cubs fan.
My team SUCKS right now. No denying that.
Your team SUCKS even worse AND they're making FOOLS out of themselves but even worse, out of the city.
Do you see A.J. Pierzynski and Mark Buehrle beating each other up because we're losing? Or Jose Contreras beating up MacDougal or Aardsma for being horrible relievers lately? Better yet, do you see our fans LITTERING the field w/ debris because our team makes stupid mistakes and can't win? OR Ozzie running at an umpire and kicking dirt on the ump because our baserunner WAS out and made a horrible baserunning decision?

Get a clue. Oh, I almost forgot, you're a Cubs fan, that's not possible.
Keep supporting this circus and these losers.

i dont agree with throwing stuff on to the field but I am sure glad Lou showed some life today. Sometimes these things can wake up your team, I am hoping the Cubs start playing better bc the NL Central is bad

I've come to a conclusion that you are a MORON.
That duo that attacked the umpire were...... CUB FANS! It was published in many news reports. Don't believe me? Search for it. The father's name was Guido or Guidery or something like that.
Kicking dirt on umpires HAS happened before, but the coaches before have usually done it to fight a solid cause. Pagan was out, it was a close call, but he was OUT. For Piniella to snap on the umpire instead of taking it out on his team instead of continousily saying "we didn't play well BUT we improved in...", screw that! What did Ozzie do the other day? "pitching, the offense, the trainers, the coaches, me, kenny williams, we all stink right now".

The show Lou put on today came off as desparate and just moronic. And he better get suspended. The team won't suspend ANYONE for ANYTHING, as evident by Zambrano getting away w/ murder on Friday, so the league will definately.

Cubs should have suspended Zambrano...

Then they should have traded him to Atlanta for Saltalamacchia...

Then they should have traded Barrett to the Cardinals...for a case of beer and a tickets to SixFlags...

Anyway...

"Desparate and moronic"??? hyperbole to the Nth degree...

Nah...that was a guy sitting around for over 50 games of horseshit baseball...it was coming...Piniella did the same stuff in NY, CIN, and TB...he may be a few years older...but he is the same hot-head...

It is far worse... IMO...for a manager of a club...

To call a sportsradio talk show, on the station that broadcasts his team's games...and start cursing the host out on the air...dropping "f-bombs" like they were going out of style...and then hangs up on the host...pretty big stones for such a tough talker...:missingte

It was something for fans of all ages to be proud about...their hometeam's manager who likes violating FCC regulations...:missingte

Seems to me the manager of a club should be more concerned about his club...and a game about to be played, rather than what Mike North says.

The Sox were 20-17 when Guillen made a complete fool of himself on the Score...and they are 5-9 since.
