Think about it.

If the cavs can pull this off, its all downhill from here. If he can take this piece of crap team all the way, there is no stoping this train from winning year after year.

I know the cavs have some fair to decent role players, but they dont have a single player besides LJ that would rank as one of the top 35 to 40 players in the league.

I cant believe this.

Who says basketball is a team sport. This cat is carrying a very average team at best on his back.

Last time I checked Gibson outscored Lebron tonight? And outplayed him... Yes Lebron got him the open looks... but w/o Gibson tonight the Cavs don't win... so your team sport argument is fucking stupid... to say he carried them tonight is ignorant...

Triple-teamed Lebron and trapped Lebron and made sure Lebron got no shots

Lebron still found a way to will his team to victory

20 pts, 14 reb, 8 assists, 2 blocks, 2 steals

Take notes, Kobe - you dont have to be a selfish ballhog to reach the NBA Finals!

So would Cleveland had a better shot tonight without Gibson or James if you had to give up one of them?

I agree with the 8 rings part. They win this year and look out. Lebron is so good it is scary.

You dont get it do you?

Lebron makes people like Gibson better. You dont think the triple teams that LJ got had anything to do with that great game?

Not taking anything away from Gibson, but Gibson is not even one of the top 150 players in the NBA.

Of course the roll players are going to have to do there part. But this team would not even make the playoffs without James, and thats the EASTERN CONFERENCE!!!

Before you people go bumping up this thread in 2 weeks if the Spurs happen to win the title.

Let me make myself very clear.

I said "IF" the cavs win the title.

This is by no means a prediction on my saying the cavs will beat the spurs.

Personally I would have to give SA the edge for the reasons that I have said above.

The Cavs are basically a junk team with only one star player.

So this is your out card for when Cleveland loses the series. Chop I like you so don't take this as an insult.

I seriously think you missed your calling as you were a born PR person.

Call me a Lebron hater I just want to point out a fact...

LEBRON JAMES HAD A VERY AVERAGE!!! Series... yes I said average... He had three games where he scored 20 points or fewer... Lebron played OK tonight and his teammates that are so horrible picked him up... Games one and two he played horrible... 3-4 he played pretty well... you are all being blinded by his game 5 performance. He had an absolutely incredible game so his series goes down as greatness but the guy scored 20 or fewer points in three games... And before you go to tell me that he does more then score... Then stop comparing him to guys like Kobe and Michael because they did things other then score but in the playoffs they got 30 a night... Lebron is one of the top 3 players in the league but no I do get it... You guys have your mouth swallowing his dick...

Lebron is a star... a superstar and probably will go down as one of the all time greats... But he will have much better playoff series... His team is not as bad as you guys make it out to be... Hell his TEAM tonight played better then the Pistons... Lebron played OK tonight... and they blew Detroit out...

All I have to say is if the Cavs win the title this year it doesn't make Lebron great it makes the NBA horrible... And yes there is a monster difference...

Good that the kid got the monkey off his back... but go back and look at the series numbers... If Lebron scores 30 in game 5 and his teammates help him out in OT you are not proclaiming him the savior of the world... So should one game make or break a 6 game series when it comes to an individual performance? Hell should it make or break a hole playoffs? No it shouldn't It was a great performance where he was on fire....

But stop with the fact that he got triple teamed all night and blah blah... GIBSON HIT THE DAMN SHOTS... he scored 31 damn points... give the guy credit Lebron may have gotten him a few open looks but he outplayed Lebron tonight plane and simple... Just like you said it was hard for me to admit how great Lebron played... You guys are scared to say that in this series Lebron got outplayed by Gibson twice... whether Gibson benefited from Lebron's presence on the court doesn't change the fact that w/o Gibson in two of these games arguably the Cavs aren't moving on.

So Scottie Pippen should not be one of the 50 greatest players of all time because Michael helped create opportunities for him?

And I know Gibson isn't Pippen but you get the point

themaje usually talks a lot of sense if you give him time, slightly disagree with the Gibson part, another good post nonetheless.

Dude you forget that Lebron did all of this against Detroit.

A team that was supposed to go to the Championship and maybe win it?

Lets just see what happens.

Dallas was supposed to shit on GS, Detroit was supposed to shit on Cavs.

Suprs are such a damn lock to win eh? Not giving the Cavs a chance?

Just watch the game games, not one person here is the Nostradamus, you can shove all your predicting up your asses. Watch the fucken games and stop bitching.
