Well it's time to have a little fun and give some money away so I am posting this pretty easy 3 team parlay with two tiebreakers in oder to give away another $1,000 prize to be presented to the winner at the reception dinner durning the upcoming Rx. Bash 2007.

Are you planning to attend the 2007 Annual Rx.com Bash? Do you have at least 100 posts? Is winning money right up your alley?

If you answered ‘yes’ to all three questions, you’re eligible to enter the Rx Bash $10k Parlay-a-Day Contest!

How it Works:
Correctly answer all 3 parts of that day’s parlay and win! Parlay questions will include NBA, NHL, MLB* and, possibly, NFL games, schedules permitting. In this case MLB only.

Prizes:
Four winners of $1000.
Two winners of $1500
One Grand Prize winner of $3000.

Prizes are guaranteed! The contest will run daily until all seven prizes are claimed. If necessary, the contest format may be simplified to ensure all prize payouts are won before the Bash.

The $1000 prize amounts will be up for grabs first, followed by the $1500 prize amounts, followed by the Grand Prize Parlay of $3000**.

How to Play:
1. Look for the Parlay-a-Day thread in the Offshore Forum.
2. Post your answers to all questions and the tiebreakers.
3. Get all parts of the parlay correct and win all tiebreakers and you win the cash!

Tiebreaker:
1st tiebreaker will be posted at bottom of daily parlay.
2nd tiebreaker is order of post.

Rules and Regulations:
• You must have 100 posts to enter. Rx.com Moderators are not eligible for prizes.
• You must plan to attend this year’s Rx Bash in Las Vegas - No proxies!
• In the event that a winner is unable to attend the Rx Bash, the prize amount will be revoked and put back into the prize pool.
• Only one entry per day per contest per poster. Multiple entries will result in the disqualification of all entries. (If more than one person from the same household wish to enter, contact
wilheim@therx.com for advanced clearance.)
• Edited posts (EG. Last edited by Poster's name: 05-21-2007 at 03:22 AM.<!-- / edit note -->) will be disqualified.
• In the unlikely event of a room shortage at the Bash, winning posters will automatically receive a comped room.
• The Rx.com reserves the right to edit and/or add to the rules above and to make rulings as needed in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

* All baseball is action. In the event of double headers scheduled after the daily thread is posted (games rained-out the day before and made up the next day as part of an unscheduled double header). The second scheduled game of the double header will be the one counted as part of the day’s parlay in order to avoid games being played before the contest closes for the day. The first game of the dobule header will not be part of the parlay regardless of starting pitchers. Rainouts count as a win for both sides. Totals count regardless of how many innings are played if the game is official. Hockey props graded on final score of game including all overtimes.

** Posters can only win once. In the event that a poster wins an early prize of a lower amount and later on wins a larger prize the lower prize is put back into the contest pool.

These games will be played on Monday June 4th...All entries must be posted by 7PM EDT on Monday June 4th...

Please be careful with your entries only entries with 3 answers (one from each part of the parlay) will be eligible. Do not enter twice or you will be disqualified. Props asking for an over/under answer must be selected with the word OVER or UNDER not the team that is next to the word OVER or UNDER if you do not use just numbers as an entry.

Monday's Parlay.....

1. New York Yankees PICK
2. Chicago White Sox PICK

3. New York Yankees OVER 10.5
4. Chicago White Sox UNDER 10.5

Prop: Will the official attendance end in an odd or even number?

Example:
Oficial attendance: 38,103 equals Odd
Official attendance: 38,104 equals Even
zero is considered an even number.

5. ODD Number
6. EVEN Number

1st. Tiebreaker:

Predict the offical and exact time the game takes to be played..

Eg. Gametime: 3 hours and 2 minutes. (do not guess seconds).
Closest to the official exact time (going over or under) wins the 1st tiebreaker.

2nd. Tiebreaker is order of post.

EG: Post#5 and Post#8 are identical
meaning they both hit the parlay and have the same or equally close total
for the 1st tiebreaker then Post #5 which is the earlier post wins the prize.

MLB.com will be the official source for all stats
and only the orignal post game box score from MLB.com will count.
Changes made later by the official scorekeeper do not count.

In the event of a rain out this contest thread is cancelled and I will do another three teamer Tuesday or Wednesday.

Reminder the rule about editing your post will be strictly enforced so please try to make sure you get your parlay right the first time. You can use the preview post function if you want to make sure everything is the way you want it. This is the rule I mean:

• Edited posts (where for example “Last edited by poster's name : 05-21-2007 at 03:22 AM. <!-- / edit note -->” appears at the bottom of the post window) will be disqualified.

Remember with OVER - UNDER Props you have to use the term OVER or UNDER as your answer not the team next to OVER or UNDER unless you post only numbers as an entry.

Current winners:

Jack of Hearts $1,000 Cash Prize....

Best of luck to all Rxers entering this contest and coming to Rx. Bash 2007.
