the email I received from the USPS company kind of looks fake and do not know if I should trust this. The buyer claims I must email them when I get the tracking number for the item when I ship it and THEN the postal service will deliver my money order to my door. Is anyone familiar with that kind of service. I dont want to send my laptop and then email a fake email with that tracking number and never have a money order delivered. I need some ones expert help

Well you could send an empty box as a precaution to et a tracking number. Email the tracking number and see what happens next before sending your laptop

its for sure a SCAM only thing USPS does is raise stamp prices they are not congratulating anyone

Yea I am really thinking it is a might as well send the empty box. I mean the way its supposed to work is I get the money then they get the item. Has to be way to risky to send tracking number before money is in hand. That email doesnt even look professional

even if you do get money order does not mean it is not a fake money order,and by the time the bank let's you know it was fake it is too late.they simply take the 700.00 back out. only way i would deal with these clowns is paypal or a meet up,of course that means local buyer only but oh well.

i have had a few cars on craigslist in the last few months and you would be surprised how stupid some people thought i was.i simply emailed them back and called them every name in the book only to not hear from them again. you would think with the cussing i gave some of them at least one would wqant to fight?

there is a website where "good guys" lead these scammers on and have them jump through every hoop imaginable, letting them believe they are in for a big payday. Does anyone know the one I'm talking about?

I tried selling my TV on Craigslist and got BOMBARDED with emails from other countries saying they would send a money order for more than the tv is worth if I send the TV immediatly after getting the money order. I eventually sold it locally but I've never seen so many scam attempts in such a short peroid of time.

Be careful if it's not local or at least in the USA
