The question is (and always is) do the odds justify betting them. Tonight maybe yes, but overrall they are still the Yanks and not great value betting them. I do think they will get hot as some point.

I think you misunderstood me.

Better phrasing would be, "Is it time to cap the Yankees as a 23-31 team, rather than capping them as if they're a potential playoff team?"
