123-96 +$4769.00 +47.6 UNITS YTD

Yesterday was very weird. Dont know if I should be pissed that we were an out or two away from a tremendous day. Or if I should be really greatful that I was only an out or 2 away from having an awful day. When all was said and done, the weird day ended in a loss of -1.2 units.

4)GIANTS UNDER 9.5 $440 for $400
3)BREWERS -120 $360 for $300

I was really looking forward to a big play on OAKLAND. I am normally very good at predicting opening lines of baseball games. I was shocked to see the A's open in the -150 range. This is the perfect line for this game. Thought they would make the mistake of making Oakland -120 or so. So no bet on that game.

440/400 means he`s betting a -110 line for 400$, i.e. 440 to win 400. -120 is the line, bet 120 to win 100. If he said +120 he`d be betting 100 to win 120. Capice? - is the chalk, + the dog. If you`re still confused then find another hobby.

Chop, quick question. When capping a total such as the Phils/Giants how do you factor in the winds at Citizens Bank Park? Is there a reliable weather site that usually is consistant w/ the winds for the next day? if so, that answer my question. I love betting the over/unders and CBP, but always am afraid to bet unders unless I know the wind is blowing in.

I look at winds, but to be honest with you, I would never bet on a total for the simple fact that the wind is blowing in or out. How many times have you made a wager based on whether and once the game starts the wheather forcast was wrong?

So far I just have $500 on the game. Very tempting not to lay more.

This is an insult of a line. UL LAFAYETTE should be a -150 fav in this contest.
